Yay. Scott re-assest and been cleared to race.

Just heard that the race will be reduced to clubby sprint race distance. Track is tripping up the tyre companies. Badly.

Since we never had a Silverstone thread - I'm making the San Marino thread while I remember.   It will be interesting to see how the Redding/Espargaro balance will be when we get the SM. If Pol can't fight back, the writing will not just be on the wall, it'll be underlined in thick black ink.

Takaaki on pole :) As someone who lived in Japan for a number of years, I always want to see Japanese sportspeople do well. So my hope for tomorrow is a Takaaki win.

After qualifying it looks like Pol is back up to speed. Could be an interesting championship now with Pol chipping away at Scott's lead.

Rabat - domination of this race! Redding - real deal this year! Espargaro - if he didn't get third would he have macheted the indonesian backmarker? Nakagami - close but too many mistakes.   Good race.

What happened to Espargaro? I thought he was fast in practice and looking very likely to take pole.

wow that was one of the tensest races I have seen in a while.  Pol always looked good coming out of the final corner and down the straight. Unlucky for Scott, thought he might have got Pol in the left hander, on final lap, but had to back off.   Think this is how the season is going to carry...

Good race. Marquez just doesn't know how to let anyone else win even when he can let the points go. Bike didn't look too much faster than everybody else's this weekend

No-one started it yet, so I thought I would. hope it's a dry afternoon. Apparently it's gonna rain later in the day.

FP1 was fun... Wilairot seems to be getting along with the new Suter chassis a lot better than Rea... almost 2 secs quicker... Felling bad for Ant West and Rosell... the Moriwaki SUCKS!!

Switching to the Suter chassis hasn't helped Rea and Wilairot much... yet. Hopefully their mechanics can get the Suter's set up right (need some eyes peepin' into Marquez and Luthi's garages LOL). I believe Rea should be a top 10 and Wilairot a top 15 on the Suter.
