Hey all,
Just wanted to post that I finally got a new bike. For those of you who were around when I was here often may remember that I used to ride a Kawasaki EX 250. This past spring I sold it and traded up to a 2003 R6 and couldn't be happier about it. I really enjoy riding again...
Its amazing the contrast in equipment. Peders lundges for the lead, after first lap is 2 seconds ahead of even Stoner, in that same lap Hayden is last. I suppose its my imagination that his bike sucks.

I guess HRC solved the fuel problem--lets make him pit, that will save gas.
Hoping to go for my first road bike over the next couple of weeks, any recommendations ? bare in mind im restricted to a 125 ( .. damnit ) untill im 21 next year. Looking to spend no more than £1000.
Running Rossi and Lorenzo is expensive. So I have no bikes or race teams under my motogpmanager squad. To get a Honda bike, I need another $8,671,900. Could one of you nice folks loan me that money so I can give Rossi and Lorenzo a bike to which they can race with, and me score some points? I'd...
I think this is cool, any one else think a series like this would be a shot in the arm for Road Racing in the US?

Has anyone else read Mat Oxley's column in bike this month? Oxley is a very credible bike journalist, and the article makes great reading. It may get the backs up of a lot of members on here, but there are a lot of points in there about how racing is going that guys have made on here,(myself...
Do you actually buy a Honda because Hayden rides one, or Pedrosa. Do you buy the Yamaha because Rossi races one? Do you buy a Kawa because Hopper races one. Does what you favorite racer ride really affect what bike and dealership you go into when buying a new bike?
Hey guys, check this out. They had this bike at the International Motorcycle show in Long Beach, California.
Its a tribute to the Multiple Champ & Legend "King" Kenny Roberts Snr. It was built by a former racer turned bike builder named Roland Sands.
KR Tribute Bike.
Oh, wouldn't it have...
We've come a LONG way
I've been watching some 500 GP Reviews (84-88)
This has GOT to be the ugliest bike EVER in the premier class.
in fact THE ugliest GP bikes EVER were in the 80's.
The mid to late 80's 500 ELF Honda.
1921 Indian scout, 600cc side valve and the same type of bike Burt Munro modified to get his record on. Owned by our local Snap On dealer (he bought it before he sold tools).
See how different is the Ducati design from any other GP bike, it's really original (click on images to enlarge them or see animations):
You can see how the engine is an integral (in fact the main) part of the structure - no deltabox here.
The swingarm is hinged directly into the engine...
I'm bored at work, so let's discuss which MotoGP bike is the best looking. My list:
1. Yamaha M1
2. Kawasaki ZX-RR
3. The rest
The Yamaha is easily the best looking in my eyes. It just looks right from every angle, light and aggressive. The ZX-RR also looks very nice, but not as sophisticated...
