Krop has a nice article about the new 1 bike rule and limited testing http://motomatters.com/news/2011/10/27/major_new_rules_for_wsbk_1_bike_per_ride.html
however, i don't get why twins should be heavier
i think aprilia are too afraid of the 1199 dominating their v4 in 2013 when in...
Barring some unexpected win either in Sepang or Valencia, Ducati is going winless this year. Frankly I do not see the bike improving by leaps and bounds next year, so I highly doubt Ducati will win a race next year either. From that scenario, is it a certain outcome Rossi will not stay with them?
So he's not going to be on the Forward Racing bike because Tech3 can't/wont get them a chassis ready in time for testing:

He certainly doesn't sound too hopeful about his...
See Dorna look to be favouring Spanish riders again with 4 planned GPs again, one is subject to contract (Jerez). Italy and America get two GP, why can't there be two British GPs, there is nothing stopping it, and Foggy Esses looks easier to get through...
How many bikes are there going to be on the grid next year? All of these CRT bikes joining but with only 8 rounds remaining this year all's quiet. A bit worring is that honda are rumored to be down sizing to 4 bikes .
Honda 4 bikes
Yamaha 4 bikes
Ducati 6
Suzuki 1 ?
So where is...
Interesting article with direct quotes from Honda racing boss Shuhei Nakamoto. Pretty obvious that 2011 was a last ditch, no expense spared attempt by Honda to secure a 800cc title before the formula switches to 1000cc. No surprise though that this year's effort would not be sustainable going...
With the new teams coming to Moto GP next year a lot of riders will be coming as well, so who do you think will make their debut's or returning???
Who I reckon:
Bradl
Iannone
De Angelis
Sofouglu
Marquez, and Smith in my opinion need more experience before they go to Moto GP.
Johnny...
So it looks like 6 teams have put there hands up to join the MotoGP class for 2012.
They have been told they will be only able to run 1 bike each, and admission to the premiere class will depend on plans they put forward at the end of 2011.
For them to put forward a proposition to join...
how many bikes will the Repsol Team have in 2012? will they keep 3 bikes or go back down 2? and if they return to 2 bikes will Honda still have 4 official bikes like this year?

Are we all asleep (me included)?
Don't know what to make of this. Hard to take it seriously when the release of information has not gone smoothly. I suspect that anyone associated with the series is probably going to withdraw support for fear of reprisal.
Something tells me that...
I just thought I'd remind everybody that the 2012 Entry Deadline is coming up. If you plan on submitting an entry, do so quickly. Looks like Ducati will be first to test their bike.

With potentially up to 6 new bikes on the grid in 2012 with the new CRT's and hopefully at least 2 riders leaving (Capirossi and Edwards) who do you think deserves a shot or another shot at MotoGP?
Personally I am hesitant to suggest any Italians or Spaniards because I think there are too...

I knew that a reincarnation of the 990cc formula was NOT on the cards, but am I reading this right, are we basically gonna have more of the same with a slightly larger displacement?
And..the end of the world has been moved up? WTF
