This situation is ridiculous.
It's not about him gaining experience or skill in Yamaha or even Poncheral's eyes. It's about getting those big yellow Dunlop signs to the track. Getting the check from Dunlop for putting their name on the bike is all that matters at this point. Having the bike sit in the garage, collecting the check and paying Guintoli as little as possible is cheaper than having him ride and fixing the damn bike. Just another reason why riding for Tech 3 is a mistake on any level.

Good luck getting Neil back in MotoGP. Even given his circumstances, he wouldn't ride that bike. Remember how miserable he was with d'Antin? That operation looks respectable in comparison to Tech 3. Not a chance he'd take that ride, especially considering he'd probably have to ride for Carlos Checa 2006 salary.
