Yamaha want Rossi ,Lorenzo to race the suzuka 8 hr

Ohhhhhh, I hope this happens so Stoner can beat the crap out of Rossi there.

So you are predicting stoner for the win? I highly doubt it, even if rossi and lorenzo dont ride. Theres alot of highly experienced enduro riders in that field.

Casey is a once in a lifetime talent. Not to take anything away from the other endurance riders. It's also going to come down to how well the others ride the CBR1000RR. If this was a straight race, Casey would clean up, but it's not.

Im still not convinced. The cbr1000 is not exactly setting the superbike world on fire and the fact that it is an entirely new sort of machine is going to take some getting used to. Add to that a new bmw and a new, arguably faster than a bmw, yamaha r1, and all of a sudden his odds arent looking so great. New crew chief, new team, pitstops and the fact that the 8 hour isnt exactly an endurance race, its more like a series of sprints means he has a shitload of work to do to get race fit. Talented just isnt enough to mix it with these guys.

Saying that though, i do expect him to do well, i just wouldnt go betting the house on him winning.

for all the reasons that Honda did not want Stoner to race in place of Pedrosa I see them throwing the kitchen sink at suzuka so they do win and they have a very good setup and you might even see jerry burgess as his crew chief but that's only a guess but he is going sparre

Haven,t been to a PI gp in years, but a Stoner wildcard would change all that!

I'l second that!

Only could I make the Pi visit during a quiet weekend, and watch the race at home on the teev?

You guys! Man... If I had a MotoGp in my backyard - there's no way I would miss it.

What's the matter Barry, 'fraid it might rain and get yer tea cozy damp?:p
Just kidding.

I do the superbikes every year. The GP has been a trip too many, especially as the cops target interstate visitors. Perhaps, now that I have sold the zx14r I will be less of a target. Do you think a gsxr 1000 will go under the radar? Pun intended!!
But A Stoner wildcard would make the trip an absolute necessity. Kesh, buy a plane ticket and we will find a place to put you up!

The cops are horrible there now, especially as they can book you for 3kmh over the speed limit.... Yep had that fine before. My busa doesnt fly under the radar well either lol.
