Has anyone else heard that Red Bull are sponsoring Yamaha (Rossi / Edwards) for 2007?

Haven't heard it, but it's possible.. Red Bull have been knocking on the door of MotoGP for a while now..
Red Bull, Movistar, Vodafone, eveb McDonalds have been tossed around.
Red Bull or Movistar sound the most promising to me though!

or have those tv adds got to you
i think mcdonnalds would be a good sponsor,if they have a vested interest in the sport you may find more exposure of the sport.
probably be redbull though. yuk i hate the taste of that .....

I doubt that Red Bull will sponsor Yamaha.. they have closer ties with KTM.. both Austrian companies..
McD rumor started last year during the Gauloises departure... so I don't see them doing it..
as for Tele Movi.. I doubt that they will sponsor Yamaha either.. It would mean that they become the laughing stock in the paddock if they did come back after they made the statement when they left..
Would be like Michelin coming back to F1 after they boycott the ruling.

I wouldn't rule out Telefonica or Movistar or whoever they are. They left after the corporate punch-up with Repsol where Honda was the referee and Pedrosa was the prize, and pulled out of all bike racing to concentrate on that ugly guy in F1 (most people call him "Alfonso" or somthing similar), but he switched to some Vodafone job involving F1 cars and boredom, sorta giving Movistar the arse. I don't think theyre too proud to come back now.
As for Mcdonalds, well apparently they wont sponsor anyone as long as theres tobacco invoved. I wonder if that means just MotoGP, or all 3 classes?

I think it will be Movistar or Telefonica or whatever they're called.
If Red Bull were to sponsor a team they would more than likely have to withdraw as the personal sponsors for the likes of Hayden, Hopkins, Stoner ... ra ra ra ra ... but then again ... Rossi is still the best known, and sponsoring Yamaha could end up better for them.
