With recent rumours suggesting all three of these riders who do you think will get troys ride?? and who would you most like to get it ??

Personally i feel that byrnes deserves a WSBK ride without a doubt.

I don't see Vermeulen stepping down from MotoGP just yet.

Colin Wright was in the Eurosport studio during the Brands Hatch round and said that Byrne has said to him he's very happy at Airwaves Ducati and he doubts he would leave even if they doubled his pay. We shall see.

I bet Ducati would love Biaggi on their bike, the Italian link up. He has shown on a Suzuki and satellite Ducati that he's more than capable in World Superbike, so it would be interesting to see what he could do on the factory bike.

Biaggi on the duke? that's great news

, don't know whether Xeroc Duc can pay what he is asking. The guy is demanding, I thought he would stay with Suzuki in 2008 so that he can win the SBK title this year. Instead he was on the last minute deal when he moved from Suzuki to a privateer duc team. Xaus would be a better choice for Bayliss seat..

Trouble is shakeys not getting any younger, it would be a shame for him not to be part of a world class brand. WSBK is screaming for his talent

I like Xaus, but he has already had his time with factory Ducati a few years back. Besides he is going to be BMW's "test" rider next year.

Biaggi looked a lot better last year on the Suzuki. Although he started out this year looking good on the duke, his crashes at Phillip Island slowed him way down. He seems to be getting along a lot better now on the Ducati, but not so sure he would be the best man for the job.

I have a feeling Byrne is going to be the man.

Never really thought about it , but as anyone considered adding tom sykes into the mix. His debut at brands hatch was very impressive.

My money is on Biaggi. No question.

Judging by Ducati's propensity for having at least 1 Italian on their bike in each class, I'd bet heavily in favor of Max. I mean, he's already running the satellite bike at or near the front in most races...I think it'd be a small step up to the Factory ride. It'd be simple for Ducati to pull off, and it makes the most sense.

Chris doesn't want to step "down" and Shakey hasn't shown his stuff in WSBK enough to warrant a factory ride. I'd predict Shakey making his way to the empty Sterilgarda bike that Max leaves open.

i voted for shakey because i think he is top of the shopping list but, his bird (Petra - yum yum) is pregnant. I doubt he'll want to by globe trotting when junior arrives.

I'd like to see Biaggi on it to be honest. I've really warmed to him since he joined the WSB paddock and I'd love to see what he can do.

Had BMW not signed him I would have loved to see a Biaggi/Xaus combo. Now there's a contrast in styles for you.

I'd like to see Max on the bike too. Wasnt a fan in GP, but enjoying him on a super.

Unless Fabrizio (Italian) bombs the rest of his season, I have a feeling the factory team will keep him on for another season. So let's say he does have a terrible rest of his season, and this opens up two seats on the factory team. Who would you predict then?

Whatever they do it seems they will wait until almost the end of the season to decide.

I think they will keep him to have an Italian on the team if they go with someone like CV or another non Italian.

I voted for who I wanted it to be so I voted for Vermeulen as the other two simply don't deserve it.

Biaggi is past his best and has been poor on the whole this season, plus he is the biggest pre-madonna in motorsport.

Byrne has never proven himself on world stage (bar Brands Hatch 2003 as a wildcard). I think its the bike that has dominated BSB this season and not him and if he goes to WSBK he will get his ... wooped.

I personally want Nicola Canapa to get the seat as he is young and very impressive while the Byrne and Biaggi are aging and average.

CV is too good for world superbike, i think he knows that he still deserves to be in motogp and will keep attempting to be successful there. Anyone watching BSB can see that Shakey is the class of the field and should step up, however Ducati might not want a rookie as their number one rider. I think they should put Shane alongside a safer bet, Biaggi or Fabrizio probably.

As much as I like Biaggi since his 250 days I don't think he is the ideal Bayliss replacement. So Xaus is out with BMW. CV is the man to replace Bayliss and I bet he won't be a MotoGp champion riding Rizla Suzuki and as long as Rossi and Stoner are still there. Biaggi can be CV partner and move Fabrizio to the Private Duc..

Elias has been saying he has no intentions of going to WSBK. I have a feeling he will be staying on with Alice Ducati. Guintoli, I don't think there has been any rumors flying around about where he will be next year, but most people would agree he will probably be leaving the Moto GP ranks. Whoever replaces Bayliss has to be world champion material. Anymore though I have a feeling they will pick Biaggi.

Maybe but I don't think he's that much of a world talent pearched for the title anymore. He is to inconsistant and moody race wise. CV aint goin nowhere either but he would be the most natural choise to win it with his level of talent and age.

I agree with you about Biaggi but I'm having a hard time seeing who they would pick.

Canepa - young fast test rider, won superstock, but his wild card rides weren't too spectacular, plus he may be going to Moto GP.

Amongst those that will be leaving Moto GP I dont see anyone. Who is leaving GP, probably just Guintoli and West, neither of those guys I could see getting the ride at Xerox. I doubt they could convince anyone in Moto GP to leave any of their current rides either.

Also looking at the other top 10 WSBK guys, I don't see any of them taking the spot:

Neukirchner - contract with Suzuki
Corser - also I would guess staying with Yam unless he gets pulled away with nice cash offer (BMW?)
Checa - probably stay with Honda
Haga - staying at Yam
Nieto - pretty consistent, but not a chance
Kionaryi - probably stays with Honda
Fabrizio - already the #2 Ducati guy, probably stays (still a chance he is gone and 2 seats are open)
Xaus - BMW

Silly season for sure. I have a feeling we are going to be very surprised at who they pick for the Xerox ride.

Maybe Haga. I heard Yamaha are reducing their budget and talks with Haga are ongoing as he will need to take a pay cut.

West won 3 from 4 WSS races he contended (i believe it was that, correct me if I am wrong).

I reckon he is crap on a gp bike because of the development aspect but he would be great with an experienced team behind him who know how to set the machine up.

His future is in production racing and not prototype racing and I think he has convincingly shown that to be the case. It would be nice to see him with a start in a decent team. How does No.2 Ducati rider sound?

I think the comparison to WSS is more relevant that that of his motogp time.
