Aint this some ..... Melandri gets fined because Aprilia filed a protest, and they were doing the same thing BMW were doing. Since Aprilia is the only one who filed a protest { against BMW } the director had no choice but to fine them. Pretty damn chickenshit if you ask me, lost a lot of respect for Aprilia. Im sure Biaggi was probably in on it as well. Let the head games begin, Biaggi feeling the heat.

fter being protested by Aprilia, Marco Melandri has been fined £2370 (€3000) because his mechanics were adjudged to be working on his bike after the three-minute board had been shown at the rain-lashed Silverstone World Superbike race two.

Although Melandri's crew weren't alone – Aprilia, among others, were doing the same thing – they were the only ones to be protested so Melandri takes the fine, which will be paid by the team, and gets a written warning on top.

I wondered why Biaggi was so animated after the race, even saw him being interviewed by Tony Carter but my recording was interrupted

i'm not sure aprilia are really advertising themselves and their products by this sort of ....

Just enjoyed 3/4 of a bottle of Woods watching the Suzuka 8 hour with Jum. Silverstone bike week continues

Just dropped Jumkie at the airport. We have hauled some serious ass over the last 10 days

I got a message when he got to Atlanta or shitlanta as he called it
<
I worked it out he would have got to LAX at 2.30am our time if they were not delayed, plus 45 mins back to his place. I doubt we will hear from him for a couple of days. Jet lag is always worst when going east for some reason.

WTF chops - Just how is Cali EAST of Atlanta or England for that matter?!?!?!?

He went the long way around
<
I meant west. I think the jet lag is worse because your going back in time zone rather than forward. I always find its worse when going to the states than it is returning. I don't remember it was even as bad went i went to the far east (singapore).

I got ya! West is way worse, I can do Bangkok to Toronto (24hrs east via Seoul) and be more-or-less OK. Toronto to Bangkok and I'm dead ...... tired for 72hrs!!

BTW just got back from Saigon (HCMC - whatever!) and watched race one. HOLY ....!!

Ballet de Moto - Cirque du Soleil couldn't have done better!

Cheers Baz and all the survivors!

Just watched race two. ....... weather... no wonder why you bloody pom's drink so much! Its no fun trying to smoke a blunt in the pissing rain! My hat is off to you hardcore Shiverstoners!!

Anyway, two weirdest bike races in a looong time.

I was entertained. Rider skill level was amazing, for the most part. It would be nice to have the feeling that you are watching men wrestle wackily overpowered beasts at MotoGP level every race...

Gotta be honest, Race day provided some of the best entertainment I have seen at a track. It had everything ! We were wondering what the script writers were gonna come up with next after the thunder and lightening....Bigfoot appears from behind the grandstand at Stowe ? A mammoth wonders across the track at Vale ? Lord Lucan finsihes 2nd in the Superstock race ?

Two very weird races. Much as I'd love to hung out with you all, was happy to watch Silverstone on the little screen.

Was bummed to see Baz lose it when he was so close. I hope this guy keeps improving. Tho at over 6 foot I don't see

him in MotoGP unless they start getting rid of the midgets.
