I have found myself subconsciously pulling for Melandri. Usually, i pull for whoever can beat Duacati, but since we now have Ducati out of the picture, i prefer Melandri and BMW, over Biaggi and Aprilia. I still think Melandri could contend in GP on the right bike.
 
I prepare for the arrival of Jumkie.....



I walk the dogs. It's August, summertime in this great country of ours. The rain lashes down and the wind drives it into my face. The sky is black as night and on the path I tread, water flows over the top of my walking boots. Even my gortex jacket has surrendered to the onslaught.



Then I remember a question once asked of me by a Hispanic friend as I put on a pair of shorts for the first time at Daytona.....

" Willski, why are you so white ? "

And now as even my wettest bits complain about being soaked, I know the answer...

Can't wait for this. Been enjoying SBK so much this year. No doubt Sykes will be on pole.. Here's hoping he can get a proper win this weekend!
 
Been rooting for Biaggi but I'm enjoying the Melandri comeback so far. Also hoping Sykes and the Kwak will be up there. Here's for some good Racing this weekend!

So practice was cool. I mean cold. We got to the track after a 'lovely' (thats an English word) drive through the country side. The sun was out, it even got hot for a while, that was out we hit the track. We had to wait fir arrabi and lil red to arrive. While we're waitin, we start knocking down a few beers. Then lil red shows up with skaface, it starts pissing down rain. ..... Shiverstone all over again. But this time i brought wify, and i know should would be none to please with .... weather (what can i say, shes a Cali girl). Me...im happy as a clam, .... im at the trCk. Lil red starts dancing in the rain singing about his time at the German GP and ..... Meanwhile its raining sideways, Wilski refuses to put on a rain coat, hoping that if he doesnt acknowledge the rain, maybe none of us will notice the black cloud over us taking a giant wet ..... Fun and games. Its all good though, as it cleared up enuf to see the Biaggi cut the grass into the pit with a big ....'all yall expression.



Currently drinking in Leiscter with Arrabi. Nice Frechy place we had chicken and ..... Live music dude played 'la bamba', made me feel at home. My home 7000miles away from home.

Jum's no worries man, just glad you and your wife made it over the pond safe and are now in the care of our English PS brothers.
