wow, no luv for the boys of World Superbike

Well, yes. But part of problem is they don't have any vid. I'd buy a pass if they had one to sell.

Go Haslam

Go Hopkins

Suzuki, the new Kawasaki of Wsbk.

Got the luv but this weekend I gotta prioritise or divorce - MGP, WSBK AND BSB - I've had to ask Ms. Mick to limit our passionate times to work around my motofixation - though she does have a nice "biker chick" thong that goes well with beer and bikes!

What about AMA you ......... heathen.

Its one of those rare weekends where divorce is actually on the table.

Re: BMW - only a matter of time before they get lucky and top the podium - but maybe a year or two before they start doing it with any regularity. Shame they insist on creating their own electronics package. Friggin' Germans... hard headed.

I'd follow AMA more (used to be an addict when I lived in NA - especially during the Duhammel years...) but the only stuff I get now is through you guys. If it seems to have been a particularly good AMA weekend I'll try to torrent from racing4me and watch at my leisure...

guintoli on pole?!

couldnt see quali, but that little ....... on a private ducati sure is a surprise

Ducati's went well in the rain.If it's dry tomorrow they'll get slaughtered on the straights. Should make for a good pair of races though.

You were in Narcotics Anonymous? Who knew?

Sykes sets a new WSB speed record of 339.5kph drafting Biaggi out of the parabolica. If that ZX-10 knew how to treat a pair of Pirelli's during the course of race distance, the way he's been riding this season I think he'd clean up at most rounds.

25 years of WSB - everyone from Fred Merkel to Foggy out at Monza this weekend.

Race 1 cancelled for safety reasons - rightly so. ....... Mickey Mouse Italian rubber - Only One rain option - full wets, which are coming apart after three laps due to the high speeds generated along the two long straights. As Whitham pointed out Pirelli are just up the road so this can't be a logistical problem! They simply don't have the durability and capability to go the distance under such unanticipated and unforeseen unusual circumstances.

I wonder whether the Flammini's would be prepared to ditch their vested interests and switch to Dunlops as a decent control tyre?

Not sure we'll see any racing today if the rain continues. Perhaps Supersport will come out given the lesser power.

what happened to hopkins? just turned on the tv and heard the commentators wishing hopkins to get well soon to maybe compete in a couple of races later in the year

Man, Hopper should avoid WSBk. He's cursed in it.

What ever happened to Intermediates by the way? Same for Motogp.

+1

thanks for the info rocket ,didn't find anything on the web right away!

i feel so bad for hopkins, theres hardly a guy in the world of motorcycle racing that i'd be more happy for if he scored a win ,let alone a championship.

the guy is hugely talented (put him on a yam/honda and hes batteling for a podium in gps, put him on a factory duc/aprilia and he wins wsbk ), insanely dedicated to riding and just sadly plagued by bad ,bad luck

Today was an embarassment for WSBK and Pirelli in particular. Gutted for Hopkins
