The cambered final third of Laguna really favours the corner speed of Chaz...unfortunately the ripples up through T.6 do not. Three crashes in three meetings - all front end.

Interesting to hear Josh Brookes when asked if this was his first time at Laguna reply that this is his first time in America!!

As per ....... usual the organisers manage to .... up the anthems. Jump start this time. I remember them playing ....... 'Waltzing Matilda' for Bayliss...then doing it again for Vermeulen.

Wait...Prosecco!!!??? Jeez - I bought a bottle of this when City won the Prem, but I'm a cheapskate.

What a great circuit though...need to get back.

Do you have a recommendation?

There's a former member on here goes to all the races for free. I'd tell you to ask them, but apparently they refuse to have contact with any current members, even going so far to avoid them at races

Oh.

That seems pretty cool to be able to go to races for free, leech off of others, and then refuse to maintain any contact with forum members because they don't worship the ground you walk on.

Too bad there's no way to contact them.

I went in 2010 for the gp as part of a bigger holiday and to be honest if you minus the flight costs, the race tickets hotels, food etc I found very reasonable, compared to some European races. Car hire is cheap too.

I booked everything individually, and paid bit more for a grandstand seat on the start line. Was a cracking weekend. Circuit is really good and wasn't as crowded as some of the big European races

What happened last night?

Great MotoAmerica races.

Honestly JPS, who cares about the cost. Can you really put a price tag on camraderie and hanging out with good friends

Beaubier took a huge step towards clinching MA Superbike title this weekend.

I was gonna go but bad planning bit my butt. I had to cancel everything and sold my ticket. (Expedia charged me for no show for the hotel. Obviously I didn't cancel correctly. FML...) I'll be there for next year for sure.

You probably ended up spending more money than if you would have gone.
No worries, next year.

I wish I knew how to post audio, I have some great sounds of them warming up the bikes.

Also, great pics Jum!

Where were you guys for the actual race?
Sorry, I haven't been here to post, so I am late. I was in the building in turn one, both Saturday and Sunday. It's my local track, though.

There was some good racing. Aprilia needs to get back to WSBK to give Kawasaki more of a challenge. Ducati appears to have a family problem of lack-of-feel in the front. I thought Davies would be more successful here.
