WSBK Kyalami Practice and Qualifying

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (povol @ May 15 2009, 12:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>With a CAT scan revealing a significant cranial trauma, Laconi was subsequently placed into a coma for the time being in order for them to monitor his progress. Nonetheless, while Laconi is considered to be on the ‘danger list’, a press release issued by the DFX Corse team says Laconi has seemingly not suffered any neurological trauma and is able to move his limbs.

He is scheduled to be operated on tonight when two plates will be inserted to support his vertebral column where he has suffered his injury.

The team stated that he came off the track at a high-speed left hander, violently striking the top of his body and his head.

If you have it in you guys, say a little prayer. These things can turn from good to bad .My wife works in a neuro lab and she says just when things are looking up,it can fall apart in an instant
HOLY ....! That totally sux!

Man, I feel sick, what a terrible unfortunate situation. Hoping he makes a full recovery!

Watching session 2 of superpole, the two Aprillias and a BMW were passing then re-passing eachother, whilst on hotlaps!

That puts Spies in the record book, tied for most consecutive poles.

Here's to another hopeful podium for Biaggi and the Aprilia.
If they hadn't penalised him the last time round, he'd be 5th in the championship right now.

Hi Stinky. I bet the only one you hate more than Hayden and Spies . . . is yourself.
It cant be much fun for you being a marginalized, impotent loser. Can't be much
fun being wrong all the time either.

To go along with most poles as a rookie. Go Spies!

Get well soon Laconi.

I watched both the MotoGP qualifier and the WSBK Superpole, wow, what a difference. With exception of Pedrosa's surprise snatch at the end, the GP Qual session was a bore. Maybe it was just having to listen to Cox/Parrish/Suzie (Matt I don't mind, really wonder why he is working for those turds).

Great stuff in WSBK, I thought for sure Fabrizio would have it, and Spies beats him to it by .001, incredible. Biaggi had a great showing as well, Aprilia is showing great promise with the new bike. I hope Rea can finally have a run at the front. Haga will do his best and pull thru what ever arm issues he has and put in the best he can. Some really close times by the top group, should be some good racing.

Get well Regis.
