Wish i could be there, two of my all time favorites are performing.Wait, never mind, i just noticed it said Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Its not CCR without John Fogarty, he was CCR!

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (May 19, 2011) — The upcoming BigM Weekend presented by Lucas Oil at Miller Motorsports Park, scheduled for May 28-30, is shaping up to be even bigger than anticipated.

Jason Britton, perhaps the world’s most popular stunt motorcyclist due to his massive exposure with television programs on SPEED Channel, in movie stunt work and on home videos, will be performing throughout the weekend with his Team No Limit teammate, Eric Hoenshell.

“Eric and I are very excited to be part of The BigM Weekend at MillerMotorsportsPark,” said Britton. “We look forward to meeting and performing for our fans and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. It’s all about the passion on two wheels! See you at the races!”

Britton and Hoenshell will perform on-track exhibitions twice each day, during the lunch hour and at the end of the day, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. In addition, Britton will appear at the pre-race party at Honda Suzuki of Salt Lake, 2354 S. State Street in Salt Lake City, on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m., and at the Fan Party in the paddock at Miller Motorsports Park between 5:00 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening prior to that evening’s concert, which features Dierks Bentley, Sawyer Brown and Reckless Kelly.

Additional stunt bike exhibitions will be performed by Chris Pfeiffer and Chris “Teach” McNeil, both of whom represent BMW Motorrad. They will be performing in the Paddock Zone throughout the weekend.

Also, the lineup for Sunday night’s concert has been finalized with the addition of Blue Oyster Cult, who will perform in addition to the already-announced Creedence Clearwater Revisited.

For nearly three decades, Blue Oyster Cult has been thrilling fans of intelligent hard rock worldwide with powerful albums loaded with classic songs. Indeed, the Long Island, New York-based band is revered within the hard rock and heavy metal scene for its pioneering work. The group is well known for songs including “(Don't Fear) The Reaper,” “Burnin’ for You,” “Godzilla,” “Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll,” “Veteran of the Psychic Wars,” “Astronomy” and “This Ain't the Summer of Love.” They have sold over 24 million albums worldwide – including 7 million in the US.

The BigM Weekend presented by Lucas Oil at Miller MotorsportsPark over Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30, will feature the fifth round of the 2011 FIA Superbike World Championship, making their only appearance in the Western Hemisphere in their fourth annual visit to Utah. Support races from AMA Pro Road Racing will include the National Guard Superbike Championship, the Daytona SportBike Championship, the Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport Championship and the Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. There will also be a major tribute to our armed forces in recognition of Memorial Day.

To obtain tickets for or information about The BigM Weekend, visit the event-specific website at www.BigMWeekend.com or call 435-277-RACE (7223). For information regarding MillerMotorsportsPark, visit the track’s website at www.MillerMotorsportsPark.com.

Blue Oyster Cult had the best album covers.

Does CCR really tour without Fogerty? That's nuts!

No doubt, writer, lead singer, lead guitar. How in the hell can you even think about using the name.

Because I went to Infineon, and want to go to Silverstone, i have exactly a 0.0001% chance of going to Miller.

Go #35

Will try. I wish I could go. Benny is already there. This track is very different than Infineon. Benny will have much more of a disadvantage here. The straight is almost a mile and the track is fast. The Yamahas have the upper hand. I expect a win, if not a solid podium.

I know Benny is at a disadvantage on the Honda. Am i right in thinking they have no factory effort or support in the AMA supersport? Listening to Scott Russell's comments about Honda should take a good look at benny and maybe build a team around him speaks volumes about the boys talent.

Correct, Honda left when the new ownership of the AMA racing series was purchased by DMG. The first year, the man in charge of DMG was a dude name Roger Edmondson. By al accounts, a real prick. Honda & Kawasaki withdrew all support.

Benny's Honda is a true privately funded effort. If you look at the grid, you will not see another Honda. Why? Well, who's gonna ride that when Yamaha have the ear of the AMA and the parts homologated for easy access. If you look at the Daytona SportBike grid, you will also see another Honda ridden by Tyler Odom. This kid's dad is friends with Benny's dad, and so they share garages and travel expenses. They are the only ones running Hondas at a competitive level. The idea was in hopes of getting Honda's attention to return to the series. The sponsor's you see on their bikes are not kicking in money in the form of cash, EXCEPT RED BULL. The money Red Bull kicks in actually feeds Benny and puts gas in the van. Nobody is being paid. Its like the kid from South Africa named Clint Sellars, he sold everything to race a year in the AMA. He did pretty good, but he wasn't picked up by anybody, now he's licking his wounds in debt. It would have been cheaper for Benny to run a Yamaha. All the top guys are on them. But the dude that has Yamaha by the balls in the US roadracing scene is a guy by the name of Chuck Graves. Well he's the dude that dropped Benny last minute. So it just wasn't a good idea to then go out and run a Yamaha then have to buy parts that this dude was the only one selling.

Here is a side note guys. At Infineon, I saw Chuck Graves looking at Benny's podium from a distance. I wish I had a lens to capture his seething expression. I almost went up to the dude to offer him a Benny Solis t-shirt. But I don't want to start any .... and misrepresent this family who is humble.

Does Graves have ill will towards Benny? I thought it was Graves who unceremoniously dropped Benny because of lack of funds. I guess it would make Graves look bad for Benny to smoke his ... on inferior equipment, but hey, it was his decision on who to drop.

I assume it was Graves who requested the tear down! If it was, he is a small man.

I also want to know why he was seething. I know people say AMA is amateur hour b/c people act like children in the paddock, but I would like to hear some of the politics of the paddock. I don't know if Chuck and Benny have bad blood or something, but I would certainly understand if Chuck was losing his mind b/c Honda were atop the podium. The withdrawal of Honda and Kawasaki has really left the AMA in a lurch, and nothing could make him more angry than seeing Honda get free advertising.

Edit: Also meant to ask about the RRW sponsorship. I remember Ulrich saying that he was shopping around the manufacturers b/c he wasn't convinced that Suzuki were giving the best deal. Now he's put RRW on Benny's Honda. Is there a Blank/Ulrich alliance forming? or is he just an opportunist who wants to score some ad time?

Ulrich was the ultimate fence walker when it came to taking sides during the RE/ Blank war of words. I would say not many have benefited more than Ulrich since the AMA became a club series. He likes it this way, except for the no fans thing. They all are going to have to pick their poison soon. Big fish in small pond, or small fish in a big pond. They have to get the factories back or they are doomed.

Well my take is obviously my very narrow biased personal opinion. But i will say this, Benny is just a 16 year old boy who didn't learn to hav ill will toward anybody, he, like the Honda commercial says, just wants to ride. His dad, just a blue collar truck driver, wants to give his kid the best opportunity. That is in contrast to the power players in the series, whos motivations are much more complex.

The seething projection i made was just my personal biased assessment. I may have been wrong, maybe i miss read the expression. Who knows.

PM me a question, i'll give u my take.

Benny's off to a stellar start!

In Graves Defense I think he couldn't pass up the Money "monster" threw at him its tough times for our sport (factory Yamaha Moto Gp doesn't even have a title sponsor) Benny chose to stay with"Red Bull" which was a very good idea because they have more pull with Honda in Moto gp. So when he sees Benny up on the podium after he whooped everyones ... and then he sees his Boys not doing too well (Aquino and Herrin) (hayes is doing good) of course he's going to be kicking himself in the ....

Theres not much of a future in AMA racing, Theres very little potential in the superbike riders I don't see any of them ready to make a move to WSBK much less alone Moto Gp. The DSB riders have a little more hope I think DiSalvo could be completive on a decent WSS or Moto 2 team so would Eslick but I don't know about Herrin it seems like he's been going backwards this year rather than forward. if Benny continues putting foot to ... Honda will Notice. Hopefully he can Move up To DSB next year and if he wins that, Honda would be stupid not to put him in Moto 2 for 2013. But in this little game we call racing a lot of .... can happen between now and then, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I though Benny would be at a dis-advantage at miller due to the long straight but straight out he is nearly 1 sec faster

The top brass cant be happy about that

Bla bla bla, see what I mean about Mr. Diplomatic? Why you defending Graves you clown. Hahaha That's why I wouldn't be a good candidate for team spokesman.

Anyway, check out this vid of the kart races before the WSBK/AMA event (of which Benny should have been part of).
