It's really only the 46 & The Doctor that are, there was never an official Che Spettacolo t shirt or anything like that. We won't see Excalibur t-shirts, keyrings etc etc It just doesn't happen.

That might be so, it's no less important and it take care of the most important item, the marketing of Valentino Rossi as a brand name. Not every thing has to end up as sellable merchandise, the symbols can be just as important for a never ending hunt for renewal. High focus media-persons like Rossi are allways in the danger of over-exposure. Renewal is one key factor to fight that.

Not really, it's one helmet, not the uber barrage of merchandise you were alleging. There ain't no evil genius James Bond villain master mindage in releasing...one lid. Not when they could go so much further & don't.

But somebody is making money!

Did I say I was being cynical, I don't recall. If I did, then I could have worded it better. Realistic is more like it.

Moto GP is a business. If I sound as if I think it's all false, then you get me wrong. What I think is that with Valentino, they have a very marketable product. I applaud them for their marketing genius.

Nope, I just checked. You said cynicism. It's not cynical, it's the real world. Valentino has become a very wealthy man. I wonder who paid for the seven dwarfs' expenses?

As for my quick google, it really was just that. One hit, one find. There must be other offshoots, but I'm not bothered to go looking, and nor should you to prove me wrong. From just this one find, AGV attract attention, and they have many other helmets. The product doesn't have to be massed produced, it has to be desirable. And if you can't get / afford the one you want, you tend to settle for the next best thing.

Well it wasn't t-shirts.

Excalibur is now yours to own for around £400. I like it, again colour matched air vents would have been much better, but I can't buy another helmet. (I really like the new Shoei XR-1000 Diabolic Zero LE too.)

I say, milk it, u curly hair ....... hes ...... earned it, fast ....... and his fans rae willin to pay for it. Good on him. Valentino Rossi dont got nuffin he dont deserve. Better than givin the fookin money to some F1 dipshit.

never liked the sword anyway, it was on total black paint so i felt it was only a testing design.

If he had kept it i'm sure Kera Koll would have been happy lol
