Seems like we have had more silly season rumours and riders swapping seats this year. 2008 is lining up to be a great season, and sure I'm looking forward to the new 08 season even though this one hasnt finished!

So - who's looking forward already and whats the best thing you think 08 will bring to motogp?

For me its a tough one between Marco getting on a Ducati & having a brit to cheer for, 'll say JT coming to GP, Donny is going to be one noisey place this year!

I'll be interested to see, if Ducati holds it's advantages into next year, if Melandri will be out front & Stoner nowhere. It's been in the back of my mind that they are running a one bike team, but you can't be sure.

I'm ready.

Thankfully I still have things to watch this season (I'm curious to see if Hayden can keep improving all the way through Valencia). But I'm ready to get on with next season.

The only thing that could change the complexion of this season is Stoner going down and getting hurt accompanied with a Rossi victory. I'm done watching championships be defined by falls, so I'm not looking for that to happen. I guess buckets of rain could change things as well, but I don't like rain to decide championships either.

2008 will see at least 2 rookies (hopefully 4). Hayden will have a fresh start and he'd better have a new improved subframe. Marco will be on Ducati and the political fighting and fingerpointing will begin immediately. Honda will certainly be improved. Hopper on mean green will be a complete unknown as well.

Good stuff.

I'm looking forward to next year as we're planning to go to Assen instead of Donington but let's not forget about what's left of this year. I still hope Hopper will win a GP before he moves to Kawasaki.

This season is over. Now it's just a question of whether Rossi or Pedrosa will finish second and how many wins Stoner will end up with.

Bring on next year now I say. It'll be a much more even playing field I believe.

If we have no significant changes in rule eg everbody on bridgestone, ban electronic engine management - then rossi should be talking to Ducati about a 3rd bike or going to d'Antin

I can barely wait for the next race, much less next season! Yeah, next season will be interesting, as much as the wait was for this season. I don't see what is the rush. Perhaps we could tune out the last six races, eh? I'll be watching at the edge of my seat.

Lexi, I wouldn't be so anticipatory about Hayden, as long as Pedrosa is his teammate, Hayden won't get ...., one has to go.

you're on a mission huh, spreading your opinion?

I say bringing everyone on equal tyres will bore very soon. if there is no struggle between the tyre factories to have the best tyre, bstones will not feel the urge to improve their tyre! it has happend with dunlop in other series where dunlop was the only tyre suplier! and about the electronic management, what are you aiming at? the traction control? we've had debates about that here too, if it's good or not. I must admit I don't know enough about it to have an opinion about it. rossi to d'antin? no way. You're right when you say rossi should move to ducati, me and my dad are speculating about that too: maybe after his contract with yamaha is finished he'll move to ducati for a last chance to win the championship on an italian factury bike before retiring... who knows!

I'm sure looking forward for next season! it's going to be great with all the rookies there (jt, lorenzo, dovi? deangelis?) and all the teamswaps. but like jumkie said, I'm excited for the next race too!

I can't friggin wait!

I am anxious to see what Melandri can do on the Duke, what Lorenzo and JT are made of on the Yamis, and what the Hopper/Nakano dynamic duo will look like.

If some other rumors are true, it'll be cool to see Dovi in the mix as well.

Also, hopefully Michelin will use the break to get their .... together after having been stomped this season.

I agree. I'd rather have Hayden beat him into submission though. If Hayden doesn't beat a teammate who isn't a rookie or in his last season, he'll never get respect.

Hopefully, HRC will finally put their full weight behind Hayden. Pedrosa will jump ship. Repsol will withdraw financing in a rage.

Enter Jumpman Honda. ;-D

What a team!

Holy .......I think I'd have to change my pants if that happened.

If Hayden can continue showing up Dani on a regular basis, I would HOPE that HRC would get their heads out of their ..... and give him the support he deserves.

Can't wait.

How will Stoner react as a defending champ?

Can Rossi fight back?

Will Pedrosa prove his worth?

Can Nicky show us he wasn't a 15 minute hero?

Can JT reverse the .... WSB rider theme?

the big shuffling of the cards & hopefully the tire situation sorted out.

I am most looking forward to how much better the bikes are goona get, and obviously the arrival of LORENZO!!

but this year isn't over yet, can't wait to see how things go on a new racetrack, and what the flyaway races might give us.

.... next year ... bring on the next race!

This season (bar a couple of races) has been a cracker ...

Next season should be a corker, with all musical chairs going on and throw in a new round.

Bring on the last six racers!!

you just want to get away from all that rain!!

gonna be sooooooo noisy with JT at home turf next year

cant wait

also hopefully a good clean scrap between rossi and chuppa chup and Marco and Casey.

bring it on

The gap between seasons really gets to me,but the guys need a rest.Seriously hoping Nakano shines well in `08.

i look forward to every season, the bit i dont look forward to is the break in between.
we all get bored and start fighting (me included) cos were not getting our fix.

The tyre rules look likely to be changed. TC will probably stay and the bikes will be creeping up to those 990s speeds.

Its gonna be great, as long as its a battle most of the time till the end to keep the viewers happy.
