I want it to be Edwards, alot.

not gonna happen... (edwards i mean)

if it does then i will take back my words with sincere appologies but IMO he shouldnt have a ride in moto gp, he just hides behind rossi huge shadow and im pretty sure he wouldnt have a job if there anyone else had taken his ride

yup it will take something pretty spectacular to stop hayden at laguna

So Colin's run of 34 (?, I know it was in the 30's) point scoring races did nothing for ya?

He has been looking pretty close to the Doc over the last two days as well. We'll see what we'll see.

that's just it - by rossi. he lives in his shadow and will not develop a persona of his own. nope dont rate him - never have. but as you said, we'll see. i hope im wrong and he starts proving himself, but i very much doubt it. still, i will appologise IF it happens.

Well Colin's kinda old now. He's still in Motogp because he's so good to work with. You can't have two stars on one team. Colin and Vale work well together. That said, I couldn't believe it when he binned it at Assen last year. I don't think Colin will win any races. And as for Laguna...this will be the 3rd year in a row Motogp races there. I think Hayden's advantage will be wearing thin at this point.

After his performance at Laguna last year, before the zook bit the dust, im gonna say Vermeulen will win it... or at least get a podium. Hayden and the rest of the americans have well lost their home track advantage.

I'm putting Bikergirl forward as 'Wise Leader', the voice of authority and reason.

I think one of the Zuks will win a race this year.. unless the Ducati slaps it on them.. proven winners Barros and Capirossi are the only ones to stop them.. Stoner has a good chance but I won't call him a surprise given Ducati and Stoner winning record.

I say Zuks..

OJ - given this is Kwaks new team again... internal politics.. yuck

Hey Goatboy… You got me working on my excel filters here, I forgot about that one, they were 34 scoring races on a roll for Eduards… from Qatar ’04 till Sepang ‘06

Track - Date - Points - Team - Position
Sepang - 09/10/06 - 6 - Camel Yamaha Team - 10
Brno - 08/20/06 - 6 - Camel Yamaha Team - 10
Laguna Seca - 07/23/06 - 7 - Camel Yamaha Team - 9
Sachsenring - 07/16/06 - 4 - Camel Yamaha Team - 12
Donington - 07/02/06 - 10 - Camel Yamaha Team - 6
Assen - 06/24/06 - 3 - Camel Yamaha Team - 13
Catalunya - 06/18/06 - 11 - Camel Yamaha Team - 5
Mugello - 06/04/06 - 4 - Camel Yamaha Team - 12
Le Mans - 05/21/06 - 10 - Camel Yamaha Team - 6
Shanghai - 05/14/06 - 16 - Camel Yamaha Team - 3
Istanbul - 04/30/06 - 7 - Camel Yamaha Team - 9
Losail - 04/08/06 - 7 - Camel Yamaha Team - 9
Jerez - 03/26/06 - 5 - Camel Yamaha Team - 11
Ricardo Tormo - 11/05/05 - 8 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 8
Istanbul - 10/22/05 - 9 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 7
Phillip Island - 10/15/05 - 10 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 6
Losail - 09/30/05 - 13 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 4
Sepang - 09/24/05 - 6 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 10
Motegi - 09/17/05 - 10 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 6
Brno - 08/27/05 - 9 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 7
Sachsenring - 07/30/05 - 8 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 8
Donington - 07/23/05 - 13 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 4
Laguna Seca - 07/09/05 - 20 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 2
Assen - 06/24/05 - 16 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 3
Catalunya - 06/11/05 - 9 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 7
Mugello - 06/04/05 - 7 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 9
Le Mans - 05/14/05 - 16 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 3
Shanghai - 04/30/05 - 8 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 8
Estoril - 04/16/05 - 10 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 6
Jerez - 04/09/05 - 7 - Gauloises Yamaha Team - 9
Ricardo Tormo - 10/30/04 - 8 - Telefonica Movistar Honda - 8
Phillip Island - 10/16/04 - 13 - Telefonica Movistar Honda - 4
Sepang - 10/09/04 - 5 - Telefonica Movistar Honda - 11
Losail - 10/01/04 - 20 - Telefonica Movistar Honda - 2

It is a shame of Motegi ’04, if he had scored there he would have added 13 more races to those 34… before Motegi ’04 he did a 12 scoring races from Valencia ’03 till Estoril ’04.

PD. By the way Losail ’04 and Sepang ’06 both were the 13th race in that season… “Not that I am superstitious cause it brings me bad luck”… but Eduards might be!

Have you ever listened to Colin talk? What do you mean he doesn't have a persona? In 2002 he told the FIM to "get fcked" because they fined him for stopping on the track during a practice session, grabbing a red flag from a marshal and waving it around due to oil on the track that had gone unnoticed. He also has some of the greatest interviews, always gives it straight. He's also known to get rowdy rather frequently, he's got the pictures to prove it with Hopkins.

Hayden's "advantage" ended in 2005. Read into any rookie's quotes, the first thing anyone will mention about the front running riders in MotoGP is their ability to instantly go fast. If Rossi and co. didn't have it figured out by the end of the race in 2005, they did by 2006.

As long as the GSV-R800 doesn't go up in smoke again, Vermeulen will be a hard man to beat at Laguna.

I hope Suzuki have built the bike that Chris Vermeulen and John Hopkins deserve.

If the bike is as good as in testing (all except PI) I think one or both riders might find thier way to the top of the podium.

Crash Bandicoot will have 2 podiums and 8 crashes.

Or their performances. Pedrosa scored a podium on his first time at the track. I think a lot of people didn't see that coming.
I think CV could seriously endanger Nicky's dominance at Laguna Seca this year, given a good bike with good tyres. By the same token, Hayden loves winning that race, he won't be willing to let it pass him by. Should be a good one.

I'll say Hopkins but there again I thought that last year.
Nakano possibly but nearer the end of the year.
I'd love to see the Toothless Tornado win at Assen to make up for last year.

Ok, I get that, but then Hayden’s “not having European and Asian ‘track knowledge’ and ‘not always going for the win’” could seem as and excuse since 2004 or 2005 tops, would it?
