I remember another one - a real hatchet job called 'The Real James Hunt' which culminated in some CCTV footage of him not long before he died, pissed up after attending a budgerigar convention and getting filled in by bouncers after trying to get in a night club. Very sad.</sub>

Went to the cinema today to see this:

You simply have to go and see this on the big screen.
I've always liked Ron Howard since he was Ritchie Cunningham and I do tend to enjoy his style of film making as sensationalist as it may be...but then 1976 was sensational. Loved the film and loved the portrayal of Lord Hesketh.
Following Hunt as a kid got me into watching bikes through his association with Sheene. Had the '... breakfast of champions' poster on my bedroom wall and a scalextric Mclaren M23. Haven't followed a formula 1 season since the passing of Senna and the last year I avidly followed the sport Alan Jones was world champion. When was that? '81? Dunno.
Very, very enjoyable 2 hours.
