Ok, after a little debate with some friends, i'd like to see everyones thoughts and resons behind them as to what the circled item is in this image. Here are two shots - one with the item circled, the other unaltered for better reference...
Looks like somthing got caught there, like a peice of 100kmph tape or somthing. It's gotta be debris off somthing
since when is tape bi colored? it looks like the small end is plugged in to a connector of some kind????

Ok serious, i reckon it is duc tape (mcgiver tape) on the radiator to keep the engine temp high as it is a wet race which has started to peel off which is black with the sticky side being grey.

Landing on his head, with his DR-Z almost running him over. Ouch. I know he's a top guy. The only person who actually offered to sign my poster at Aus SBK. Had to ask everyone else
