I also think Rossi would like to see him get a victory. he was the first one congratulating him when he got his pole position this year.

Better get a DNA test on your kids...you wonder why your kids are so damn fast on bikes, well there's your answer.

LOL, CE boinked ur wife. Pro riders have strong cores that make for good thrusting

FWIW, I met him at Jerez. Based off that and his interviews, I say ....... LOL @ the people who are defending him from 2nd/3rd hand accounts. But anyway, It's just IMO.
He seems like an excellent rider, if I'm qualified to judge.

Why are you such a hater? I'm just gonna block ur negativity now. There's diff between offering an opinion on a third party and being rude in an open forum. DIAGF. Bye

Ohh, you're a cop. That explains it all!

I don't think Rossi would want him to let him by, they both have enough integrity that they believe in earning a title.

If it was the last race of the season, then this might be debatable, but its mid season, so Colin would take the win.

You say that there's a difference between being rude about a rider who you do not know and being rude in reply to a stupid post. I agree. CURVE has made a point that many of us can understand, no-one else seems to think CE is a right .... though.

You ask why CURVE is a hater then add DIAGF.

I had to look the acronym up, but it apparently means Die In A Grease Fire. Hmmm....

Taken together with this comment:

I'd say that CURVE was pretty justified with this:

I have also met CE at Silverstone when he was riding for his first WSBK championship and found him very personable and very happy to chat about the racing.

Sackwack's comment about DNA tests was amusing and intended that way towards Ravensby who is another newb here like yourself.

Your comment "LOL, CE boinked ur wife. Pro riders have strong cores that make for good thrusting
<
" just shows that, if not actually 13, you have the mindset and vocabulary of a 13 year old. With this in mind I doubt that CE would have had much time for you.

Starting posts with "QFT, Colin's a ......." (again I had to look this up, but apparently it means "Quit ....... Talking") as early in a thread as you did simply marks you out as either 13, stupid or both.

As far a commenting that CURVE's a cop - where in god's name did you get that idea. Presume you've never even lurked here before jumping in shouting your mouth off.

Now please wander back from whence you came - Crash.net - far more your style I'd have thought.

Yamaka, I'm glad you looked those up because I just gave up.

But the bottom line is everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you think Colin is a ...... then that's your business. But you'll be hard-pressed to find any knowledgeable fan to agree with you as CE is one of the most well-liked riders on the grid. So frankly, I'm not surprised you received this response, even if CE isn't a hot-button rider like Rossi, Stoner and Hayden. I don't mean to discourage you from posting, in fact I hope you take the opposite route. Just know that for every opinion you have there will be a handful that will have the opposite and who aren't afraid to voice it.

Go Colin!!!!

Speaking of Colin (and anyone who knows me well enough on here this is one of my favorite stories), remember in 2002 when there was oil on the track but the officials didn't see it so Colin got of his bike and started waving the corner workers flag? Then he got fined $2,000 or $5,000 US or something so in the press conference when asked Colin responded by saying "Go find your local FIM representative and tell them to get ......!" Good times. How can you not like the guy?

and the contract talks time with honda..

HRC.. "is there anything we can do to make your time in moto gp more successful colin?"

(paraphrasing here BTW)

CEII.. "you can shake my hand and wish me luck at Yamaha.."

typical Edwards, straight talking and no ..........

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BigAl @ Jul 17 2008, 03:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>typical Edwards, straight talking and no ..........
It's so nice to hear. There's so much 'I just gotta thank my sponsors' and 'Well we tried some things and they didn't quite work today but we made some progress' etc. And Colin is the opposite. Journos must look forward to going to his pit box after each session.

Colin is a class act. Met him at Laguna last year. Maybe he got his racers turned around and was talking about Biaggi?

Plus, Rossi is a big fan and friend of Colin. They were more than teammates since Colin joined Yamaha. Neither said anything bad about each other. Perfect teammate IMO.

No team orders but if Rossi was there at the front with Colin it would be a battle... Colin wanting to win his home race.
