Are there team orders in effect for the satellite teams? I would hate for Colin to be forced into doing a "Schumacher/Rubens" at the finish line if Rossi is right behind him in 2nd place. That would SUCK A&@!! But, at the same time, Colin does not want to become the Black Sheep of Yamaha.....

What should he do?

QFT, Colin's a ....... He'd rather Rossi crash than lose a chance @ 1st. If it comes down to them up front, Rossi has the raw talent to pass him. Also, I think a little "two way telemetry" could detune Colin's bike if necessary. All irrelevat, Stoner will waffle-crush.

If Edwards is in position then he will try his best to do so. I don't think Yamaha would ask him to give up his first, and likely, only win for five points in Rossi's account.

racers like to win...especially those who've never been on the podium

AFAIK, there are no "Team Orders" in MotoGP. Even if they do exist, there is no way a work's team can control a satellite team.

haha, the factory will definitely have some serious 'pull' if they're keeping CE and JT on near-works machinery! It's a good thing Colin is highly regarded by the factory for his bike development and his ties to Michelin....

hmm, did not know Edwards was a ......... Thanks for the enlightenment Clarkjw!!

yeah, CE is far from being a ......, very respected in MotoGP circles

sorry, didn't know you knew him

Maybe he was smoked out and he just got laid. Everynoe has there good and bad days eh.

To the topic: Colin would definitly not let another rider win or Colin will lose the rear in the last corner and Hayden will win the race

uhhh, wat? Your comment doesn't make any sense.

He might not be a lot of things, but Edwards is far from a .......

An American win, on American soil? Invaluable to marketing. There is no way they would ask him to move over.

My wife met him years ago before he started in WSBK and Motogp and had good things to say about him.

I also think Rossi would like to see him get a victory. he was the first one congratulating him when he got his pole position this year.
