Is there any place online to watch MotoGP races besides buying a MotoGP.com subscription? I moved recently and decided to go without cable and just have high speed internet - since you can watch almost anything online these days. But now that the moto season is kicking off I havn't quite found a solution to watching MotoGP

How about a hello?

No worries, just bustin your balls a bit. You should stick around. You may find that this forum offers insight like no other forum out there. And if your obsessed with MOTOGP then you will fit right in, as far as watching the races online, as Geonard, has pointed out Justin TV is probably the best option. Of course you can always get it on torrent after the fact of that race which is what I do when I can't stay up to watch the races. Anyway, hope to see you around. This forum kicks ....

What would be the better choice for picture quality?

Justin Tv is probably considered by most to be "poor" quality but the plus side is you are watching it live. If you download a torrent then it is the best quality although it usually takes about a day to download after there are some seeders hosting. And also no garuntee becaue Dorna seems to have their interent officers out in full force lately.

If I can catch JustinTv I will, then I download the race later and watch it again, or record it from speed which is commercial ridden.

Seriously? If 44 Euros is too much, but you can afford high speed internet access, cut back on the beer and weed for 1 week.

HAHAHA ... good one
Since i would be a new subscriber it would be 54 euros... and since i live in America thats like 75 bucks! ... and thats just for the Standard resolution. High res is 90 euros.

I haven't quite decided if i can live with the low res. What will prob happen is that i will miss the first race, not be able to find it anywhere decent to watch, and end up paying the 75 bucks. But since I'm already paying 50 bucks a month for internet I'm willing to take the chance.

I hear you Snurfer...that price gets tossed around this forum like it's nothing, but for those of us with bills to pay 75 bucks is no small matter! And the low-res in my opinion is not really worth paying for, but some on this site may disagree.

Thanks for the link Geonerd! Hope that works for this upcoming season! Do they just feed the eurosport broadcast? Hope so...Speed TV sucks.

I stopped subscribing to the site. The last time I had my membership I experienced major difficulties with the stream and was never given any sort of explanation or reimbursement. I've only watched justin.tv once and it wasn't great quality but it was good enough to know what was happening. And the live chat is fun. I've been torrenting the WSBK and WSS races this season and I've really enjoyed that, hopefully I'll be able to do the same with the GPs.

Tremulant, I have to tell you I love the Avatar!! How is the factory panda riding lately?... haha

Yeah... thanks to everyone for the help so far. It has been real helpful.

justin tv most likely your best bet.for the 125.250 races and the Eurosport coverage.not sure about the motogp race though as Eurosport arn't showing it live this year they only showing delayed coverage of the motogp race..then theres sopcast that might have it or myp2p
there should be some links around nearer race weekends..and we may get an idea who is showing stuff on the net when there the official test

if you can work a proxy isp address, its free to watch on the BBC website. is restricted to uk residents though. if you can get around that, the pic quality is fine...

Of course! We're full of help here on this forum! (I said "help," right?)

I'm flattered you think that's me in the avatar, but that is actually a picture I took a while back when I got a chance to meet Dani Pedrosa. I got an inside look into his training and that was one of his more rigorous routines.

Here are some of the other pictures I took during my inside look at Pedrosa's world-class training:
