Was the 05 season actually boring?

Some people here suggest that 2005 was a boring season because of Rossi's dominance.

Forgive me but I never recall him winning by a country mile (race wise), he would always win it on the last lap.

Statistically boring, excellent racing IMO.

it's true some races have more excitment than others, but dispite one members view of me i never concider a race boring even if a rider dominates it, i just injoy watching the timing increase or de crease lap after lap and enjoy the skill involved.

racing was not boring! was the jerez race boring??? i think it was just folk tired of rossi's serial dominance. we all figured the championship was over before it started & really it was. so from a championship view as a whole u could say yes. we'd already had 4 seasons of #46 dominance. but the races were never boring.

Valentino was dominant, the championship was boring!

BUT,........ some of the races were awesome. It should be remembered as Valentino's finest year, rather than a boring one.

it might have been 'boring' from a 'who's going to win the championship' point of view...but I think the races were great. My fave was probably Donington with sheets of rain coming down and Vale disappearing into the distance, where I was literally jumping up and down, chewing off my nails (and bits of my fingers too) and screaming 'calm down you .....!!!!' Heehee

I think I didn't breathe at all for the final two laps of that race!

all the races in the 05 season were exciting really coz although rossi won the championship by a mile the races were close.

the thing was he never had the same competitive opposition in all the races so no other rider was anywhere near him on overall points.

Gibernau, Melandri, Hayden, Biaggi, Barros, Edwards and Capirossi all had a few races where they would be battling for race wins but none of them managed to keep that level of performance throughout the season like Rossi did.

It wasn't boring if you were rooting for the #15 guy. Some great, yet horribly depressing races.

are you people HIGH?

the word "boring" and "Moto GP" never belong in the sane sentence

.....you're thinking of Formula -1

Bump. Rossi was just too strong for all the opposition.Like previously said,it should be remembered as Vale's finest year.
