Video Pass Renewal

Last season when I renewed my Video Pass I was offered the Multi-Screen and Live Timing for free or real cheep so I thought I'd give them a try for a season.

Ended up using the Multii-Screen a few times but never used the Live Timing so I wasn't going to get them again at this renewing.

After the last race I went to renew and the renewal was 139.95 pounds when last year it was only 99.95 pounds. A friend of mine's renewal was 99.95 pounds.

I emailed customer support to see what was the deal and they replied back that I can not down grade my renewal so if I want to renew I have to pay for the Multi Screen and Live Timing that I don't want.

Anybody else had this happen and found away around it?

By the way,, In the email they also said that the basic package will not be offered for next year. So if you plan to renew and are still able to get the package for 99.95 pounds you might want to go ahead with the renewal.
 
I renewed for 99.95 euro (standard package).
Can't see a price for a new subscriber so not sure if letting it expire is worthwhile for you.
 
I have mine on auto renew. I don't have the slightest ....... idea what I got, but it was off season testing and next season for 99 euro

Same for me. I mainly get it for the live timing and coverage of practice because I get essentially the Dorna coverage on cable anyway and can't be arsed about the multi-screen high res etc etc.

Same for me. I get live timing that I do like and use. Just checked my credit card and mine auto renewed for £177.59 :eek:
 
I dont have mine on auto.. It is still 99 euros for off season and 2017, but regular price is 135 or 139 euros i think.

Ouch. Something definitely not right there. You've essentially paid 2 standard renewals. Hit up support. They sorted my login out pretty quick (before a race was about to start - but it might be slower in the off season).
 
I thought they cancelled the multi screen upgrade and it is now part of the basic. 4 screen for 99€

Thats weird.. Its all HD 720 already tho. I got offered the off season plus 2017 for 99 instead of 139 euros. Offer still valid, may renew later. We'll see. So is the multiscreen with the standard pack for 99 now??
 
I have no idea what I've paid for but my subscription renewal was 199€. It just auto-renewed

If I can ever find an email address or phone number (!) I'll try and find out...

I checked, and mine auto-renewed for 99 euros as I thought. I have subscribed for quite a few years now though, and I have always resolutely resisted all blandishments as far as upgrades go.

Exceptional value imo, although it annoys me that they seem to want me to sign up separately for my mobile phone.
 
I've had mine maybe 3 years now? I've emailed them to find out what it is I've bought! It doesn't look obvious from my profile, I don't think. I don't usually take any extras as there's little point with my scottish country broadband. I doubt very much my bandwidth would cope with multi screen.

However, I'm also prone to not really paying attention so, like that fateful day I upgraded my mac, mid software development, thinking "what's the worst that can happen?" I suppose I could have got a bit click happy one day...

I suppose I ought to go and watch a few old races from the back catalogue to make the most of the world's most expensive motogp viewing purchase.
 
I have an email dated 1 week before, which said I was set to auto renew at the renewal price. It has no price in the email anywhere. I can't find any older emails. I've just searched recovered deleted emails, too and there's quite a few Moto GP emails, but none about renewal.
 
Ive been a member since 2013 there but never got the videopass until earlier this year. It was still 99 euros for me plus off season is 1 euro now.
