TT RACES. 2010

Well thats 5 from 5 and a new record from Hutchy, every solo race this week (except TT Zero) has been his. Amazing work by himself and the Padgets team.

Nice to see that Americans have managed to secure their second overall class win at IOM. TT Zero and historic 500s I believe.

Didn't an American win privateers in Superstock. Does that count for anything, or am I just begging for accolades?

The reports said he had serious chest injuries, but that he was fine otherwise (no head injuries). Hopefully, he doesn't have sever internal injuries. Get well, Guy!

A week of records for Hutchinson. Who would have though? I knew he was good, but I didn't expect him to clean up when McGuiness and Donald were in the SBK races. I wonder if Plater could have stopped him this weekend? Hutchy was on a mission.

Maric Thorpe, Accident and Emergency consultant at Noble’s Hospital in the Isle of Man has issued a statement on the condition of Guy Martin, who crashed on lap three of the Senior TT.

The statement said:

“I’m pleased to say that Guy Martin has been talking to us throughout his treatment in A&E at Noble’s Hospital. He has bruising to both lungs and some minor fractures in his upper spine, but is otherwise well.”

“We expect him to be in hospital for a few days.”

“Guy asked me to pass on his thanks to his fans for all their support – and tell them that this has nothing to do with lack of commitment from him!”

Conor Cummins condition described as serious ,get well man

So glad to hear Guy's ok (and no doubt already complaining about the hospital tea
<
) , and I hope Conor's not doing too bad. I'm sure they'll both be back out there in no time.

Congrats to Hutchy and the Padgetts team. It's a shame so many of the fast guys dropped out of the race leaving him to run away with it, but I'm still sure Ian would have done it anyway.

EDIT

I thought Paul Owen deserves a mention for receiving the ‘Spirit of the TT’ award after pulling out of the Supersport race to help the marshalls after the Paul Dobbs crash.

Sounds like both Martin and Cummins are going to be alright.

Did everyone see that Donald got to ride a lap of the TT on Loris' Rizla Suzuki? Not a bad consolation prize for an otherwise disappointing week with a team who looked a bit out of sorts.

yeah last night's TT prog showed the Rizla ride and Owen getting his reward

it's been a good TT

till we got to the end of the week, feel deflated now after some many incidents

Wtf up with the HMPlant bikes ? uh

fookin kids who the fook set the alarm to go off at 5.30am.

Yes i saw it on the TV footage, i expected it to be real parade lap stuff but he was actually giving it a bit of a ride. Not exactly pushing but it looked incredible

Conor Cummins is serious but stable this morning, get well soon brave lad.Well done Paul Owen as well.

Guy Martin has spoken exclusively to MCN following his massive crash in Friday's Dainese senior TT.

Martin crashed at Ballagarey, early in the third lap, leading to the first ever red flag in the senior.

Just five hours after the finish of the restarted Senior TT, and about eight hours after his horrendous crash, Martin said: “I’m alright boy. I’ve done two vertebrae – but nothing that’s serious. I bust a bunch of ribs, collapsed a lung and twisted both my ankles. I’m a bit sore but I’m fine.

“I woke up and realised all my limbs were still on. I could feel my fingers and toes but I couldn’t move that well. I could feel the vertebrae were not right, but it could have been a lot worse."

that's one tough bloke, it sounds like that crash should have killed him.

TT has been a hard one this year... i have been avoiding this thread for a while cause i'm gonna watch it when it comes on hd theater over here later in the year. but seein all this carnage it was tough.
