Seeing how good the 675 Daytona seems to be according to the International press and how good results it's getting in the French and German Supersport championship, I was expecting to see the bike in the World SSP Championship.

Next year, the Caracchi team, who used to be linked to Ducati, will enter two bikes, one for Nannelli and the second for an unkown British rider.

Triumph France is also trying to enter a bike for Kenny Foray who has won the 2007 French SSP title with the Daytona.

I spoke with a Triumph rep at Road Atlanta last year and asked him why the 675 was not in Supersport or Fx and he said Triumph was a small company that simply cant afford to go racing.I said, so is Ducati and he said that in the scheme of things,Ducati is much larger than Triumph.

I think it is more of Triumph being a young company. This current company has only been around since the 90's. Give them 5-10years.

If I HAD to buy a full on sport bike right now, it'd be a 675

If teams are gonna enter them they better be legal, don't you think so?

Im pretty sure with 3 cylinders you can go to 675cc,750 with a twin, and 600 with 4cylinders.I did hear recently that in AMA Formula Extreme, the twins were allowed 850cc and it instantly made them competitive. Not winning but getting on the podium.
