Tragedy at Barber Wera event

Man That really sucks! its been a crazy year so far with stuff like this. Lets hope the rest of the year can go better for every racer in every series

RIP sister & brother.

As a motorcycle enthusiast it is always sad to hear of someone who pays the ultimate price doing the activity that I so love, but it happens and we learn to move on and cope with it as we know that the activity is dangerous.

As someone who officiates at various race meetings and/or practice days it has always been in the back of my mind that someday I may pay a high price for again doing something that I so love and enjoy.

But to me this seems a senseless tragedy that was (as Jumkie pointed out) likely very avoidable and sadly two people have paid to high a price and are no longer with their families.

Whilst I don't normally get involved or comment in these type of threads, this one touches a very raw nerve and deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of those directly involved, but also thought for thos indirectly affected.

R.I.P to both.

seem more training is needed there . Totally avoidable, this type of thing just should not happen in this day and age.
