You are quite right, it does. Our sources seem to not matchA bit of google leads me to Wikipedia, which says he rode a GP in 1949... Interesting.
Masetti ran in 125 in '49 according to the wiki on the 1949 season.
Dig deeper, look at the race report for the 1949 Dutch GP, he finished outside the points on a Gilera, apparently
