First, before Migs ..... kittens, I don't think Redding is prone to mistakes like this one. At least I've not seen him make poor decisions like this routinely. That being said, this was stupid. Very Johnny Rea prior to 2013. No reason to pull that move from that position and ruin his weekend and the weekend of another rider.

He should simply apologize and move on. It's his fault. Doing anything less is extremely poor form.
