Thats one of the most interesting articles I've read in a while. It really makes you realise the importance of a great crew chief and experienced riders.

In his book he says that moment at Welkom was the complete opposite of what you would think. He said the whole thing struck him as funny and he was laughing hysterically.Of course that very well could have been his release and he didnt realize it.

Muha ha ha.
Nice storry. Didn't any of you react on the "You don't want to know" or even better, cold Januar in South Afrika? That's prime summertime down there. Secret test ride one week before the GP, yeah right.

Happy Aprils Fool's day suckers

articals dated 4.2 2007 altho it does sound far fetched.

I got totally duped today..... Didn't even know it was the 1st! Rent is already DUE NOOOO!!

the first two articles had me going, but the last one was totally ridiculous, good job to whoever wrote it.

I was biting through the first two parts but after the first few grafs of the third story I was thinking to myself 'If this isn't an April Fools Day gag, this is the single greatest moment in motorcycle history'.

I wonder how much of the technical details had any truth to them. Had me completely fooled , until part III where I start smelling a rat. A greeat read nevertheless..
