I finally got to see um to day. The local Ducati/BMW had a open house to show the new 800 twins and I think some 650 single. BMW looks like the fit and finish is going down hill...but the 1098 was impressive!
They had one 1098s model and two standards with sold signs on them. My dad said the same for the two shops in his area, so whats the shops like in other parts of the world? Bike shops full of 1098's and sold signs?

We've sold 3 but still haven't had them to deliver and have been told that the factory can't keep up with the demand.

and some people wonder why ducati still race in wsb and build v2's for the road instead of fours..answer cos they sell like hot cakes.

But are they selling? A bike on the showroom floor with a "sold" sticker IMO is not 100% sold.

If it was my bike, it wouldn't be on the showroom floor and have finger prints, ... prints, drool stains, etc..all over it.
