Crutchlow faster than Toseland and already as fast as Spies?

It's testing. Rea broke Spies superpole record too. If Crutchlow can manage 11 poles and 14 race wins we'll talk

I'm not saying Cal is going blitz the field next year

It's just impressive that he's up to speed so quickly.

I'm quite impressed with Crutchlow. Not to say he'll have a season like Spies had, predicting that for anyone would be impossible, but I think Toseland is going to struggle to match Crutchlow's pace throughout the season. I'd really like to see what Laverty and Lascorz could do with a proper SBK.

I hear ya, everyone seems to be putting in very competitive times compared to the race weekend.

I would agree that Cal being so quick, so quickly is impressive.

What's really funny is that Cal is on Tom Sykes' bike. JT is on Ben's.

Spies' bike has a different swingarm and electronics.

Cal will be good. Perhaps a UK battle? Toes vs Cal vs Rae?

Crutchlow knows how to ride, people. We got a look at him last year in WSBK at Portimao. He was near the top in every session and I believe he came second to Bayliss during a wet superpole session.

Race day didn't go too terribly well, but he was on an HM Plant prepared bike and it was his first time at the circuit. This year he has experience and he is riding a factory Yamaha.
