never said that Spies did'nt have skills! he has more skill than any of us could hope for... i just don't think he's gp material. could be wrong but i don't think i am. as far as Kiyo go's i think he needs to move now & to gps not to another sbk series. does he have what it takes to be competitive at the pinacle? he needs to get there so we can find out!

Hey look it works

Should we add guintoli to that list of candidates?

We could, but i rather fancy he will find a place in GP. If Ten Kate/Honda want to win the title next year they are going to need a rider with experience. We talk about all these young, talented and/or new riders, but even hodgeson probably wont be in a position to challenge for the title straight away. Realistically if they want the title they need Biaggi.

Don't know yet, but hes one of the most promising unsigned riders out there. I would be very surprised if he didn't find a ride.

Had to be said, however we might find them racing together sooner or later, then all will be revealed.

Sofuoglu has got to get the ride next year, he's won the supersport title on a Ten Kate and proved he's ready for the next level. I think it would be interesting to see Xaus back on one of the best machines... last time he was he was in the shadow of Hodgson.

Like Tom said, if they want to retain the title next year, they need Biaggi.

I think Rolfo's had it after been destroyed by team-mate toseland...

So my line up looks like this:

Sofuoglu
Xaus
Biaggi
???

Seriously no idea about the 4th ride... I'd hazard a guess at Kyonari or Hodgson, possibly Guintoli... but he is too talented not to get a ride in Moto GP, aswell as Kyo.

What you reckon that HRC will have Biaggi back on board
<
- no bleeding chance after the way he acted whilst in Motogp.

I am not at all convinced this will happen, i just think it is their most realistic chance of the world championship in 2008.

Do you think HM Plant can afford to lose both its riders?

Well i assume Camier will step up because he is already factory supported, its just the switch to Michelin. I think their other rider might be Tommy Hill, but thats a random guess.

I was thinking that Camier would be a good choice
<

And they may bring a new boy from Japan.

For Ten Kate, has Rolfo a contract with them for 2008 ?

I liked him in 250 but I've never understood how Ten Kate signed him in the first place
<

Kyonari and Sofuoglu would make a nice team. I'm not sure that adding two bikes is not gonna help...

So we know checa is signed up - has anyone else been announced yet?

An extract from http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2007/Oct/071008a.htm

The Netherlands-based team will run a three-man squad in the Superbike class to include MotoGP contender Carlos Checa, current World Supersport Champion Kenan Sofuoglu and defending British Superbike Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari.

The 2008 HANNspree Ten Kate Honda World Supersport team will consist of Australian rider Andrew Pitt and current British Superbike star Jonathan Rea.

... another Oz v England (I have assumed he loves the colour orange) contest there ... I back Pitty!
