the biggest worry for the sport is the lack of numbers on the grid.a worry for all parties involved in the sport.if were not careful were gonna end up with a dozen bikes running around each race.not good for whats supposed to be the elite class of motorcycle racing.
look this privateer goin down the toilet in gps has been a long time coming. wcm, ilmor & know the last holdout roberts. it was inevitable. lets face it gps are now & probably always will be, from here on, the realm of the manufactures. unless roberts decides to go back as a full satilite team he's goin to sbks. they already make after market parts for bikes so seems sbk is really the better place for him. it's a shame but thats the way things have gone. as far as 12 bikes on the grid it's not ever goin to happen. unless 1 of the factories completely pulls the plug, 18 should be the minimum we should see, baring an injured rider. if suzuki & kawasaki would field thier fair share of the grid it would be 22. honda will always be supplying 6, 4 each from ducati & yamaha, 2 each from suzuki & kawasaki.

how is it helping the championship with team kr running around last every race...

Does your keyboard have a RETURN key?

Without Honda engines, Roberts would have disappeared this year.

Honda has done enough by supplying them, what else do you want, to give them the same parts as their factory riders?
<

LCR and JIR have received little help from HRC, why Roberts whose bikes don't even carry the Honda logo should get more than them?

And you dont't see them complaining...

is the roberts engine the same as checa's
or melandri's,or nakano's.don't think so.but last years results by kenny jnr when he was beating the honda satelite teams would have counted for something.obviously not, standard customer engine.thats probably one of the reasons he's at home in california and i don't blame him.just wish ducati would help out even if it meant running 07 engines.

Amen. Even if they got a 2007 spec they would still be much better off in 2008. Come to think of it, why don't they buy as many surplus GP7 engines from this year as they can? Seems like they'd be much better off.

i dunno - maybe yamaha is looking to buy them. it would/ will be sad to see KKJ go - but not so bad without without krj and kid brother

1. I agree

2. Ideally they would design the chassis as well so the bike could be competative.
