It is clear that the back injury mentioned that Takahashi has is merely a convenient excuse for letting him go in place of Talmasci who financed his way into MotoGP. You think if say Lorenzo had the same back injury they would tell him to sit out for 3 months? Sad but true, the satellite teams have to do what they need to pay the bills and keep racing. Now that Gabor will have two bikes at his disposal, get ready to see him push it more (few crashes perhaps?) in an effort to improve his times.

I feel bad for Taka, but truthfully his compatriot Aoyama was more deserving of the ride, that is if they were only looking for a Japanese rider at the time. And, although this is hindsight, Aoyama has been doing outstanding this year in 250.

I actually feel pretty bad for the dude.

That's too bad.

Talmacsi isn't gonna get any more points than Takahashi would have though.

Funny that we have no token Japanese in the series now.

I feel sad for our cable network. They went through all the trouble of making a motogp advert with Takahashi taking centerstage with the lines "Watch the new legend unfold!!" and now they can't use it anymore.

Maybe they'll just photoshop Talmasci's face over

Good riddance I say, never liked the fancyboy smug look he had. Worse after he punted Nicky off and didn't even offer an apology willingly.

At least the Japanese still have Aoyama to look forward to.

dont u think that the japanese factorys want to see a japanese rider in GP!? in MY opinion takahashi was not the best from beginning on!

i think they should bring aoyama to GP next year! hes the best rider U could bring to GP (i think)

dont U think THIS will happen!?

I agree with you. From that point i thought that it just proved how out of his league he was. I don't think he should of ever got a Moto GP ride. There are alot better racers out there would would have got alot more than 9 points!

Hopefully he can find a different lower ride for next year...
