Oh theres not actually really that many Scotish Aussies, its just seems so on the web as they have heard that there is a Nigerian Prince giving away money on the internet, so naturally the Scots are over represented.

PS Don't look at me I'm not Scotish, well not that I know of, I'm a total mutt. Though one of my grandparents may have come from some tropical island named Lewis, supposedly near Scotishland.

Lewis eh? Outer Hebrides, you as Scottish as a kilt McSheene! Although if it's Lewis you must be a McIver or a McLeod.....................
 
No that grandparent's was named Lewis. Oddly it was my grandparent with the most generations of Aussie in them.



The only Mac in our family was a Maquire ...... which I am told can be spelled Macquire, and is one of the only Mac names not to actually originate in Scotishland .......... anyway she was "black Irish" had a lot of basque in her ........... like i said ...... Mutt



Lots of funny stuff like that has gone on in the past with my family, eg. my surname is actually a name plucked from a hat.

Something about some "troubles" in Ireland and it not being advisable to keep the old name

I don't even know the full original name, its pretty Ye Olde Irish starts with "Fin"- something .... then gives you tongue cramp saying the last part.

I thought we just got through deciding I have no Scotish roots? Coulda maybe one grandparent possibly came from Lewis surely isn't much to go on. Besides its more likely they were another grandparent/family escaping "the troubles" in Ireland ....... and they swam to Lewis ...... its not tha far is it? One or two swim strokes for an Aussie ......... ok three cos they probably didn't know they were going t be an Aussie at that stage.

I can't be Scotish ....... no never!! ......... and besides ........ I got the "black Irish" in me ...... I have been called Spanish, French, Albanian, ( my mum used to tell me it was the milkman )........ its that ole " black Irish" I got from the Maquire strain, when one of my fore-mothers took a liking to a washed up spaniard she found on beach and probably asked "can i keep him?" ( research "black Irish and Spanish fleet ....... gotta love those Irish girls ). No bloody Scotish though ......... please

This Is CS's for all at 'Powerslide.com 2012'!!! I don’t usually CRY buy my Adriana and baba are on the way and I want the best for them!!! And as I've been told from so called ex pert before …that usually a father in motogp gets slower but with me it’s the opposite…I get super faster! The 1000cc between my legs (remind me of Adriana & you know what Adriana does to me) and also like the late and the BEST BS told tme…if you ride a supermarket trolley you might as well be a commodity but if you ride a super-fast bike then you have to be a champion…go ahead boys make my day in 2012!!! Thank YOU CS!!!

Not even Brain Cox and Stephen Hawking combined have a clue, this guy is beyond extra-terrestrial, just like the hydron collider the rules of physics as we know have been re-written by........The Penguin!

My thought exactly. Obviously deep level satire, from which side of the debate I would not venture an opinion or wager money.
