Is it one of the more popular scotch's over there?

Or is it a similar scenario to Fosters. People drink it overseas but most people in Oz wont touch it with a ten foot pole?

Ranges from about $70 to $85.00 a bottle. Haven't tried Macallan but it's another I better have a crack at. That is going for about $83. The Laphroig is basically $100 a bottle
