"We have to concentrate on our job and what our development is for next year. We just have to try and find the best tyres from Bridgestone to suit our bike. The Kawasaki and also the Suzuki use slightly different tyres and we also have to make tyres to adapt to our bike".

Different tires than other other bridgestone bikes.

of course ! you didn't think all the stones or michilins through out the paddock were the same did you ? all the different bikes/riders have different characteristics so have unique requirements for things like tyres

Whitham gave a brilliant insight into this today in BSB.

I knew Bridgestone would supply the best rubber to Ducati the winning team and specifically Stoner. I even think sometimes hes had better tyres than Capirossi.

Same with Michelin, Checa is not gonna get as good a compound as Rossi maybe 5 races later...

So at the early stages of the championship Bridgestone have a rider who is winning ..... are you suggesting that they are not going to start listening to him finally and put a rather large amount of their work effort into him???

In reality I think since Stoner was a "surprise" .. we didn't actually get to see his real potential until Brno, Misano and Laguna ..... but then even the doubters would have been saying to themselves " well even if he ain't the "real deal" we better start doing our best for him" ....

Who do you think had more influence at the beginning of the season?
Stoner? or some of the other riders?

Who was getting just what they wanted?
Stoner? or some of the other riders?

Who was not converting the use of the product they wanted into wins??
Stoner? or some of the other riders?

The tyres they use in motogp are not like buying tyres from the local tyre dealer.

And some times Stoner did have better tyres than Stoner .... Indeed sometimes Capirossi chose a better tyre ... that was no secret and indeed I think it was possibly one of the reasons we see godd relations between Stoner and Capirossi ..... he had knowledge that helped get Casey the win .. especially with regard to tyres on the Duc.

Oops edit" I meant to write: "And some times Stoner did have better tyres than Capi" but I shan't edit what I wrote cos thats porbably correct also LOL

Well i think Ducati was the team with the most potential to Bridgestone at the beginning of the season since they where the only team last year to win races.

I don't think they are gonna have such a nice relationship with other teams like Yamaha and Honda if they are forced to supply them.

andrews a knob head. sore loser who smahses his computer when rossi loses. haha

end of day stoner set blistering lap times from day 1 in all conditions. wet, dry, cold, hot, windy whatever.

I think bridgestone have now said they could supply one more rider, particularly if it was rossi. That would still leave the question of whether
bridgestones would be immediately suitable for the yamaha, but I would imagine rossi could get them to work quickly if anyone could. Of course if the yamaha still needs to be ridden harder than the ducati he may still have problems.

yeah i see it next year, rossi on bridgestone and rossi gets beat again, and people will say the brisdgstone dont work on the yamaha. or bridgestone is favouring stoner giving him the special secret tires. haha

i hop rossi gets on bridgestone. and in 2010 gets a ride on a ducati.

but then there will be consipiracy like this year when deloris didnt get the better tires like stoner did. haha

oh we you cant ever win with these internet nobs around the place

and if it went the other way people like you would vanish off the forum red faced, exposed as someone with no real race knoledge.
i find your posts quite creepy, you come across as some sort of stoner worshiper and rossi hater, you hide behind your internet persona and accuse others of what your most guilty ,being a fanboy and a waste of bandwidth.

If rossi is only an average rider who has always been advantaged by having the best equipment, and not an all-time great, then I guess stoner beating him this year was not much of an achievement.

I must admit that I respect anyone that has the guts to punt these things around a race track at speeds that I'll only ever watch from the sidelines!

And when you have someone, anyone that does it better than the others on a regular basis then it's hats off to them regardless of their nationality or whatever.

I for one would love to see Rossi on a Duke if the chance came his way... I believe that things might be much closer between himself & Stoner than many would prefer...
