what's wrong with rossi?!?! It can't be his bike, even edwards is doing good in qualification. I'm starting to think he has no motivation left, that his future plans are already known for him and that he just thinks: what's the difference... where did his winnersmentality go??

I gues it was dry, this morning during qualification?? I haven't seen it, too early for me
<

It's very confusign. Rossi probably has the same problem he had in Turkey, lack of grip. But he will still be a threat in the race he still wants to win.

Hopkins 2nd with dry track??? I think the Bridgestone qualy tire is working fine, Nakano confirms this theory with his 4th pos. But why are the Ducs not up there then????
<

Rossi 1.5 seconds slower than Edwards???
<

Crazy.

I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow.

Camel Yamaha still have chatted even though Colin Edwards rode though it in QP. For Rossi he cant get round the Chatter

i think it's those three 1st gear corner's that are hurting the duck's
<

I would have said that Rossi issue would be the whole chattering problem.
Shanghai is a very fast track ... the chattering would be bad here.
but Edwards has thrown that theory out of whack ... everyone else is probably right .... lack of grip.

not much separating the top 6 .... less than a second.... the its a bit of a jump of about 3/4 of a sec. to stoner .....

it could be anyone this race ... my money is on Gibernau ... he's fast here ... he just lacks a little in the 2nd section of the track.

any of the following for a win tonight will be fine:
Gibbers, Melandri, Stoner or Capirossi .....
<
any of them and ive won money ....
or ... and its a long shot .... a Capirossi-Melandri 1-2 .... cmmmmmooonnnnn.........

13th is looking unlikely for a win from Rossi. That`s pretty far back. A podium, maybe. Unless he gets a good start and is in with the front runners by the 1st corner. But I suspect this season is starting to take its toll on the king of confidence himself.

bloody manboy
<

ergh.
no money for another few weeks.... haha

fairly ordinary race, i thought....

good work by Hopkins and Edwards at the begining... shame to see Colin couldn't turn it into a win, he really does deserve it.

Rossi did a pretty good job .... weird whole thing with the pitstop and then retirement ... his tyres were fuked....

Stoner did pretty well too ... he had dropped back to tenth there for awhile but pulled back up to fifth... some funny .... going on there with Melandri too just at the end. Hayden did well .... thought he could've pushed just a little more, i thought...

I know i did'nt do a prediction, but how weird it looks to see so many people wrong !
<
Ben one day you will have to stop backing rossi, and you might be in with a shout ?stay leftfield i normally do ?espeicially this season.

katt if he'd a pushed any harder he would a been in the gravel. hayden could not catch manboy cause they were runnin the same. the bad start is what screwed nick up. mb was at 1 point 4 places ahead of him, mb got a good jump & passed hopkin's & edward's 7 pulled a nice gap. i thought he did a good job by gettin to within a sec of him. they traded fastest lap 5 or 6 times toward the end. no way was nick gonna catch him...... next time!

oh i know!

I think Nicky could have pushed harder but he did the right thing and thought about the championship. I could be wrong...Dani was flying this weekend.

Great race....

I don't think there was any catching Dani. Nicky threw down lap record times and Dani responded every time. Nicky would take out three tenths and Dani would go four tenths quicker. Can't take anything away from either guy, Dani rode a superb race and if it wasn't for him, Nicky would have won by 11 seconds. The Repsol boys were as fast as I've ever seen them and it's only going to continue.
