<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (simon.h @ Oct 19 2008, 11:05 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>He'll do better than Melandri this year, thats for sure. all he has to do is beat kallio and cenapa and he's justified his place on the grid (no disrespect to them).

what sort of factory support will he get? im guessing similar to the alice team?

Even ...... .... for brains hoppyboy is beating marco just now, and he has done .... all!

....... ah, sounds just like Pinky is talking to himself again.

Fantastic news to have Sete back, hopefully we'll see him occupy the podium a couple of times before the seasons end.

As for everyone who is bashing Marco, don't judge a rider on one bad season, Marco is clearing not getting on with the bike and its definatly had a huge affect on his confidence. Don't forget he was the world championship runner up in 2005 and was a title contender for a long time in 2006 and they were both on sattalite bikes.

What makes a great rider is their NOT past success.....Great riders have the ability to adapt to changing conditions, bikes, tyres, tracks, etc....Marco has not adapted so his past was great, but he is not....

Nice one. Good to Sete back, the more the merrier

We may not have the 990's

, but lets hope for more of this

Good news for Moto GP in my opinion.

How competitive will this bike be though? I'd guess about the same as this years Alice team, but I don't know, what factory support will he get?

If the bike is similar to the Alice of this year, couple of podiums? If Tiger Toni can do it...

Saddest thing I ever saw was Marco at P.I this year. Lap after lap of him just doodling by. At the end of the race I expected some guy with a dustcoat and a clipboard to come out and say.

Sorry Marco, you'll have to resit this riding exam.

Stop holding back bro and tell us how you really feel!

Kawi kills the third machine and Zuke has barely got enough parts for 2 and both are giant companies in comparison. My hat is totally off to this team.

Run Sete as a Rossi blocker and let the boys sprint to the win...strategy!!!
totally agree with all of this. defo got to hand it to ducati were as kawasaki & suzuki are a joke & they'll continue to be bottom feeders until they pull thier heads out.

I would bet that due to the fact that Sete is a bit older and had the number for a bit he might get it back. When Troy Corser changed back to 11 Ruben Xaus had to give it back and he then ran the 111. IT's not like Deangelis has this huge bank of merchandise that has his number on it. Maybe he will run the 115.

I'm not a big fan a Sete, but it's great for the drama. I'll beat Loris will give him some handgards for Christmas

you better use them Sete!!!!!!

Rossi's hoodoo/hex on Sete seemingly went beyond him never winning a race again. His last season on the Gresini Honda contained so many hapless comical moments.....running out of fuel at Brno summed it all up. But my favorite Sete moment of all time was the ambulance crashing and hurling him off the stretcher after the Catalunya turn one incident in '06. I know I shouldn't laugh, but coupled with his toe slider coming off at Mugello the same year when he was leading the race, the moniker Sete 'Giveupnow' took on a new poignancy. I'll be pleased to see the old queen back - for entertainment value, but quite why he's subjecting himself to the ignominy of another season is beyond me. It can't be the money when you're heir to the Bultaco legacy. Maybe he's as bored as we are with the 800's and thinks he can still light it up a bit.

What if DeAngelis wants 15 to signify his 15th place standing?
