Sete Gravelplow is back

what a sad man he is. so shame for proven gp winner but we all know he's mental unstable person so at the end no big surprise here.

this is great news winky whats the problem?.... you would probably be happy watching a saftey car going around the track with no bikes at all you twit....

Ducati has five bikes on the grid, 2 world champions and a very seasoned Sete who if nothing else will help develop the GP9 running right at the level of the two key riders unlike Melandri...god what an organization for a small company. Kawi kills the third machine and Zuke has barely got enough parts for 2 and both are giant companies in comparison. My hat is totally off to this team.

Run Sete as a Rossi blocker and let the boys sprint to the win...strategy!!!

Dude WTF noone gives a rats ... what you think. If it was up to you there would be only one person on the grid. I would venture to guess he could muster enough brain power to kick your ..... ....

2003 & 2004: Runner up with 4 wins each!
2005 & 2006: Lost the wins (Cursed)!
2007: Lost the Bike got the Girl!
2009: Lost the Girl got the Bike!

Not that unlucky dude really… I mean, when he was down and ended up losing his ride, he marries a very cute girl, now that he lost her, gets to ride a missile for a life again!

it will be real fun seeing sete again after 2 years! hope he has not lost much of his speed, i'd really like to see him battle with valentino one more time like the 990 days.. but that's not really going to happen.

and for sure congratulations to ducati for adding another bike on the grid. suzuki and kawasaki should do that too.

More motivation for Rossi, lovely.

Seriously though I worry for the guy, he had his warning at Catalunya 2006. Enough can be enough sometimes, he shouldn't push his luck.

Good news there's one more bike, bad new is that Sete won't win on it. Should make the season a bit more interesting though. Wonder what Vale has to say about it?

This is good news. Suzuki & Kawasaki should be ashamed. I'm the first to have a good chuckle at Sete's past but he's got a fresh start, always been talented - cast off those demons Sete - good luck in '09.

^^^I seriously doubt Sete would sign on as a blocker. He will be trying to race for the win. Testing times on an empty track do not necessarily translate to being competitive on race day.

Yeap, Gibernau could try to block Rossi when he is overlapping not caring about blue flags, in order for others to catch up a bit… (just joking)… Hope Gibernau is competitive (runner up) again.

With Sete's history against Rossi, this is unlikely.

Sounds like another Spaniard with sponsors money coming into the sport.

I wonder if the championship will be fixed to make him win?

Pete

He'll do better than Melandri this year, thats for sure. all he has to do is beat kallio and cenapa and he's justified his place on the grid (no disrespect to them).

what sort of factory support will he get? im guessing similar to the alice team?
