Leading MotoGP test times from day one of the Sepang test, which is being attended by Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki teams.

Testing on Wednesday was severely interrupted by torrential rain, which fell on the Malaysian circuit from 1pm, flooding parts of the track and bringing about scenes reminiscent of September's grand prix, when a similar storm led to the cancellation of Qualifying.

Ducati has chosen not to attend the test, while Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa and Gresini Honda's Marco Melandri are both absent after recent arm surgery. Seven-times world champion Valentino Rossi is also not present - as he is driving in this weekend's New Zealand round of the World Rally Championship.

Testing continues on Thursday.

Now where was the speculation thread?

Pedrosa and Melandri are both recovering from surgeries for nagging injuries while Rossi was funning it up in NZ driving rally cars. This report isn't correct though, Colin Edwards set the fastest time of the day on his first spin with the new Yamaha 800.

I wouldnt read too much into testing times, at this point. The IRTA test's at Jerez are a better indication on times - roll on Qatar!

Crackin pick, is that an H2? the tailpiece is a ringer for an H2R seat unit. Motorbikes don't get much scarier than an H2R!

Lovin it!!!

Speaking of Nakars, have those .......s at Honda let him ride his new toy yet? Methinks HRC ain't enjoying giving EVERYONE new toys. Only Special people are supposed to get the good stuff.
