Schwantz's take on 2015 fiasco

Schwantz: ?Rossi was in trouble even without grid penalty?

I was bored as no racing so i was browsing through internet and found this and it was a nice read. It's Schwantz's opinion of 2015 fiasco.

I love going back and reading comments from Rossi boppers after Valencia. You could swear that the majority of them are 12 years old with little to no bike racing knowledge. Its like watching sheep on acid wondering around in circles bleating the same thing over and over. When you point out facts, they bleat in CAPS. Good fun.

I think the most important part of that interview is the following:

On a side note, Schwantz expressed hope that Marquez can learn from his performance at Phillip Island.

“After that race I thought, ‘I hope Marquez’s guys sit him down and make him watch that last lap over and over again. They should tell him he was all over the map early on in the race – kept missing the apex for the first turn, for example. He was getting it so wrong that I assumed the setup was bad or that his front tire was already giving up.

“But if you watch the last lap, he was smooth, calculating, bike not moving around under power – and that was the fastest lap of the race. So I think his management should point out, ‘Marc, look how fast it was but also less risky to ride that way.’ Yes, I know he’s been champion twice already, but I think that last lap at Phillip Island was a little lesson he could really learn from.”

I belive theres a good chance this is exactly what happend and Marquez has been better for it this year.. Let it come to you, and don't force it all the time.

Nice interview with Nicky Hayden in gp magazine, he pretty much said Rossi should've kept quiet but Lorenzo was taking the title anyway. Very interesting that his views are very similar to revvin Kevin.

My only problem with lorenzo is he sould have kept quiet because he was winning any way. Nobody except Rossi and his yellow brigade believes Rossi's accusation and this is the fun part that rossi actually believes Marc f...ed with his championship.

Lorenzo only said what Rossi would have said if roles were reversed. These guys live for that title and will take any opportunity to gain advantages if they present themselves. In my opinion if roles were reversed Rossi would have been far more vociferous about things.

Lorenzo needs to bit more political. He sometime appears immature and arrogant. Lorenzo said Rossi should be disqualified which is okey and if i remember correctly he also said MM and Dani would like a spanish champion which is not okey. Yes these guys live for the title but if Lorenzo kept silent and stayed out of controversy he would still be champion without all this drama.

Sorry, but why is not okay that Pedrosa and Marquez would like a spanish champ? They are spanish too, so it`s normal to root for your own people.

Yeah they are Spanish and there is nothing wrong for wanting a Spanish champion. But Rossi's imagination just invented a Spanish conspiracy and his opinion just added fuel to fire and created more drama.
