I think that helmet design is awesome. It will be most visible in the last laps when he will try to break the rest of the field.

Its definatly different, which is to be expected of Valentino.
I thought when I first saw it on MotoGP's youtube page that he had the face on the back of the helmet to it is staring at the riders behind him which I think would have been even better as it would possibly distract or put off his rivals.
Still unique helmet design and very entertaining.

But do not worry....I have been Rockin' the '99 Sun/Moon design since....well, 1999!
