rally time

two weeks ago i was watching the x-games, and they had a new rally category.

It turns out that the battle for the gold was between Colin Mcrae and .... yes.... Travis Pastrana, it was realy weird, travis was giving Colin a run for his money

I gues that when your talented, your talented.

TP can do anything he wants when he focuses on it. He's been doing rally here in the states for a factory Subaru effort and it sounds like he's been winning. It's too bad he can never focus on anything for more than a few weeks at a time, he's always switching back to FMX unfortunately. He could have really been a threat to RC had he focused on MX.

sorry, but i don't understand the abreviations, whats RC ? Rally championship ???

or MX ??

yeah the kids got gobs of talent! & his freestyle stunts are breathtaking!! he coulda been a real threat to rc..... oh well.

RC has semi-retired right?

And Stefan Everts (10 times world champion has retired too), the MX world has lost it's 2 best riders. Not that I care too much about it, but on the bright side Stewart should win ergo KAWASAKI wins.

Let's see if Vale can get past through stage 1 this time.

I wonder how well Rossi will do in a rally car, he's done something like this before and did quite well if I can remember correctly, why not do it again Valentino?

He's got to have a go at everything I suppose, Moto GP, F1, WRC...next it'll be the tour of france.

Don't you mean 4 wheels?

I think he'll be good because he used to do motocross and does have a little experience and certainly knows how to deal with the speed and pressure. We'll just have to wait and see.

Pastrana's knees are so bad that he had to pretty much give up on the motocross efforts. If you watched the freestyle finals of the x games he,i believe pulled out becasue of the gimpy knees. He went to rally because of the closness to motox.

Travis Pastrana...legend of a freestyler. Is he still the only person to pull off the double backflip in competition?
