I got thinking today that this is one potential marketing opportunity that the bosses don't seem to have pounced on. We have tissot as a major partner, so why not charge them a little more, present the polesitter with their latest shiny new model, and split the money between the teams? Just seems to be a wasted opportunity.

im not 100% sure but i always thought they did a service to the avents rather than just sponsorship. they provide the timimg. mabe they dont pay but dorna pay them, interesting,i wonder what the deal is between tissot and dorna

Exactly mate, every time the timing comes up on TV (every other second) it says… 'TISSOT' hence Propaganda!

Sorry then Roger, it must have been the language translation matter, we use the ‘propaganda’ and ‘advertising’ words for the same significance in México… could be bad use of it though now that I’ve seen the dictionary. Sorry again!
