Not me dude, I've been to PI for many years before Casey ever turned up.

Problem is in the past have either camped with friends at the track, or done the drive from Melb. Frankly, neither option is that great.

This year taking my wife, so looking for somewhere closer to the track to stay. Not just jumping on the bandwagon because of Casey's retirement.

Sorry it wasn't directed at anyone on here mate.

Just making the point how bandwaggoners spoil it for the dedicated fans who do go year in year out.

As my local soccer team found out.

I'm not too good at getting what i mean down in type

Yeah, fucken bandwaggoners !!!!

In saying that, will probably be one of the biggest crowds ever at PI this year, and will be awesome atmosphere. If there is anything that could change Casey's mind, it would be winning at PI, in front of a massive crowd supporting him.

I remember hearing an interview between Stoner and Beatie years ago (maybe about 2007-8), and he said if he could just come and cut laps at PI on a GP bike, without all the other ........ that goes with the series, he would be the happiest man alive.

Anyone wanting to catch up for a beer (or ten) at PI, let me know.

Anyone ever planning to come to Aus, and go to PI, this is the year to do it. Will be one to remember.

Fellas the same could be said going back in the good ol days of WG in 1990 with Mick finishing 2nd - don't you think there were any bandwagooneers those days ? LOL.......

Same can be said for '92 and even '95 at Eastern Creek - < made that one being local and seeing Mick and Daryl finish 1 and 2 woohoo.

Was at PI in 07 seeing the 1st CS win ! now that was an epic time 17yrs after WG's 90 win what a feeling then.

Doesn't matter bandwagoneers bring $$$ to the sporting bodies plus ads to the atmosphere though at times some not so good LOL.

Once I know I can make it will advise be good to meet some of the regular posters here.

That's the beauty of Phillip island being at the end of the calendar. I was there for Rossi taking the championship in 04, Casey in 07 and even though it wasn't set in stone, Casey taking the championship from a fingerless Lorenzo last year. It's also the best track too
