well rossi won but well done nicky hayden, hes growing on me, wow that sounds weird saying that cumin from me dont it? but hes gunna b there next year surely..
rossi knows hes gunna have a race or 10 next year, if rossi is keeping a bit bak then hes gunna need it next year cant wait.. 1 last thing rossi used his head big time to win 2day and im happy he won but well done nicky...

clearly no tire issues today for hayden. he did well, every time rossi made a run for it he got up there and wouldn't let him get too far. he closed up the gap towards the end and left melandri and checa 4+ seconds behind, finishing almost exactly 1 second behind rossi on rossis favorite track. good show!
congrats to rossi of course, but the real battle for 2nd overall has closed up even more with melandri and hayden knotted up in 2nd!

Twas a good race..............felt Rossi was doing a cat & mouse game with Hayden......he just seemed to be able to turn the speed on (as always!) at the right time.
Nice ride from Hayden.....interesting to note that after the race he said the bike was virtually perfect and the team had a great package from him..........plus it was a full of left handers for him
Carlos................nice ride! How close was that over teh line!! Like 15 hundreadths of a second or somthing between him & marco!
Rossi just proved his class again.................like letting Hayden pass for a few laps to observe his riding............notice how good the Yam was on the power again....that bike has gained some serious speed over the season....must post some speed stats to see how much.

For sure a good race for Rossi, he simply owns the track and I expected nothing less than a victory from him today.
Beautiful ride by Hayden, every time Rossi stepped up and tried to break him Hayden followed right with him. It took the battling with Melandri to give Rossi the one second advantage that he took to the line. Nicky seems really hungry and perhaps a little smarter about tire conservation, maybe Istanbul and Valencia will treat him well.
Carlos Checa nice ride, I knew he had the race pace from Marbs' posts but I doubted the Bridgestones over race pace. It's good to see nice guys like him taking podiums and especially taking precious points away from Marco Melandri. Good ride Carlos.
Elias with a solid 9th place and poor Vermeulen just couldn't hold off Hopper for a top 10 in his MotoGP debut. Better luck in Istanbul Chris.

Wow what a superb race, fantastic, Melandri that was impressive, and unlucky to be pipped on the line,

I thought he showed a bit of inexperiance when Rossi let him though, I felt he didn't know quite what to do. Kinda stuffed himself up a bit letting Melandri get back to them. Rossi obviously felt it was too slow and went again, and Nicky quite wasn't able to follow. What a superb battle of tactics. I thought he was gonna fade but wow he hung in there good. I thought everyone was sliding on this track perhaps thats what may have evened it up ???? comments anyone

Sete well he didn't fall, but didn't see him cross the line to see if he was shaking his head (have to ask kath). He couldn't match it today, something to build on, perhaps he's not getting as much Honda support anymore.

ben ur right the the yam has found sum speed but every speed trap i saw with rossi was fairly slow at 1 point edwards was 6 up on rossi, check the race again there was 7 people faster or more than rossi.. i think
