I was flipping the channels this morning and stop at fox to see news on Peter's accident. There was this stupid woman "wendy murphy" that says the Lenz family should be investegated for child neglect/abuse. Fox had a poll up in regards to being too young to ride. I was not able to find it. Martha MacCallum believe's it is the parent rights and not some organization as wend murphy seems to believe.

She is a ....... ..... who has no idea what she is talking about. Even though death is a real possibility in bike racing, i would be willing to bet that more kids die practicing in the summer heat for soccer, football etc: How does she think any sports superstar becomes a superstar, by just deciding one day when your 21 that i might give that a try. . She and her kind are the ones that you just want wring their neck every time they open their mouth. The kid had a pro license and was a more accomplished rider than 99 % of the riders you run across on the highways. Accidents happen, you cant legislate them out of your life like this stupid .... seems to think. The kid loved racing motorcycles, there is nothing wrong with helping your child chase a dream.

.... like this Fox crap interview only happens in the US, and I say this as a proud citizen. I find it much more dangerous the annual fall right of passage that goes on every year in Minnesota and probably most states. The proud father buying "little Johnny" his first Winchester and going out hunting to bag his first Deer. A college friend of mine killed his father in such a right of passage.

This meddling c..t is bitter at the world, probably sterile. The young man and his fellow competitors know the dangers of the races. Their parent are fully aware that what they are doing is dangerous and could harm or kill, but millions of sports are as dangerous or more. Protective bubbles are no way to protect our children. I for one am a much better, and safer rider thanks to my parents starting me on the 2 strokes at 10.

Living in Spain, these accidents are understood. It's part of the business. To be 125 world champions at 15-16 you have to start early.

This family needs support, It's a shame people in the US try to make the parents the criminals.

How dare she say this after these poor people have just lost their son. Sound s like this insensitive ..... is using this family's tragedy to build a campaign to try to further her career. piece of .... !

Fox news rarely reports on news they just like to get the extreme veiwpoint from either side. They throw gasoline onto minor issues and influence the viewer to choose sides. They do it with politics all day long. It's a wonder why everyone has become so partisan. We're being taught to see no gray area or middle ground which in the end is where common sense lies.
 
I found it particularly poignant because his father posted regularly on one of the other forums and was so proud of him; his family have my deepest sympathy.



But yes you can't legislate all danger out of existence; if you stay home in bed all the time you will eventually get medical complications of that. And it seems to be a feature of modern western culture, and many organs of the media in particular, that everything has to be someone's fault.
 
I've been watching Peter on youtube on his nsr for years. he was such a special guy. i'll really miss him.

no argument from me, well put, excellent point. I'd say that legal mole is definately saying this to benefit herself, Very poor form from Fox to even shed light on her knowing the .... that was going to flow from her mouth. The Lenz family could have a case for defamation......against both the network and the ......
 
A sad day indeed....thoughts to his family and the family of the other lad involved, they must also be going through tough times right now.
 
Sad story. Even sadder is the fact that the media vultures are already gorging on the corpse.



Don't blame this ugly ....., blame Fox for airing her .....

They just like ANY other news channel in that everything they do is designed to boost ratings. Journalism and integrity can go hang.

You guys crack me up. This was not JUST Fox news. It was discussed on Good Morning America, The Today show and others. Lets be fair and balanced in our criticism. ALL news agencies are about sensationalism and ratings, lets not pretend other wise.. It was worthy news, it MAY have even been worthy to discuss age limits, but totally crossed the line with the talk of bringing in CPS.. All i could think of was Dan Akroyd and Jane Curtain.
