Nicky shooting his mouth off now that the standard spring engine is developed around Pedrosa and its worse than last years

I'm thinking Honda have made the team from hell...

Ok, ok, so what was your point by asking?

Explain your point please.

What exactly was wrong with the Honda in 2007? Well at the beginning of the season at least.
Because I really don't know

Nicky the solution is to call your Agent and get looking for a new ride for 2009, because Repsol is not going to give you the bike you need to win, place or show. It is clear Dani is the present and future for HRC, and so before they completely sabotage your season get pushing for a new ride in '09
News Flash: I completely agree with your post!!!

Its really a shame. So much wasted talent because HRC have their heads up Pedrosa's .... Its also frustrating because we judge these guys so much on their results without taking into context the other aspects of their racing situation. Can you imagine the outcry if say Rossi or Stoner (also two champions) were not sure what engine they were going to run based on: their teammate's opinion and/or the poor performance of the "new" engine (compared to the already inferior last year's model) just days from the start of the season??

It looks like Honda/Pedrosa again will be the biggest hinderance to seeing a three/four way battle at the fron again.

Hayden is as loyal as an abused wife. Tragically they keep coming back for more abuse. Ah, I could only imagine what his life would have been like at Ducati.

I think the phrase you are looking for is...'red headed step child at family picnic' type abuse....Oh sorry this is not about Kurtis Roberts is it...

Regarding Ducati...I would think Nicky's life would be similar to Marco's this year and Loris's last year...

Just a few pesky problems like, inferior power/acceleration, poor wind protection, inferior top speed, poor tire performance, engine reliability issues, inadequate front-end feedback, poor chassis performance and handling, and ergos not suited for a grown man.

Maybe yes, maybe no, we'll never know; but at least we can have the confidence that he would have been given a fair shot and maximum support with another manufacture that is NOT myopically focused on only one of their riders (bar Yamaha). What do you think?

Neither Hayden or Pedrosa are developing the bike well... and now Honda instead of going one way are split probably by the different feedback they are getting from the riders.

Nope you are not mistaken...you are dead on mate...Ducati is family and they do try to take care of their guys...even to do a Capirossi and build a special engine just for him...and you never know we may find out in 2010.

I disagree. I just think that Honda, for all their resources, has simply just not developed a strong engine and package. This is compounded by their stubbornness to try and develop a tailor made bike for a very anomalous peculiar rider that is Pedrosa.

Well as much as you tend to get under my skin sometimes, this has been one element of your views (I've notice them before too) that I think you totally distinguish and understand precisely correct.

And yes, who knows what the future holds for Hayden. It will be increasingly difficult as time goes on. This year has seen a influx of extraordinary talent in Lorentho, Dovi, and Toseland. Unless these three really disappoint in the season (highly unlikely) then I really can’t see where space would be available for Hayden on a truly competitive machine.

Kawasaki to replace West at the end of this season is one possibility, and Suzuki to replace Capirossi is the other...but unfortunately, Nicky is a Honda man and so will take a ride on a satelite time when it is offered as an alternative by HRC....

hayden and dovi to do a straight swap? not ideal for nicky....

hopper is also on a 1yr deal at kwak so, there are a multitude of possibilities with who will go where..
IMO nicky will be better off at kawa than elsewhere but he might not see it that way.also, who knows what will happen in 2008? teams/riders rise and fall etc?

available seats in 2009.

1. fiat yam....rossi will obviously have first option on that.
2. repsol...who the f&k knows? who would want to be 2nd fiddle to pedders?
3. suzook...both seats open, but CV has first dibs on his seat. will he want it or not?
4.duke...both seats occupied but if one of them (thats you marco!) has a dismal year, then anything could happen.
5. kawa...again, at least 1 saddle open in '09 but hopper might be clinging on to it...

didnt include any satellite teams because they dont win championships....neither do kawa or suzook(very often, in any case!).

so, who goes where?

disclaimer: the above opinion and facts are correct at time of posting according to me!
if they are subsequently proved innaccurate, then i will deny all responsibility.

Oh right. I didn't realise it was that bad.

Hayden's response has made me a fan:

PAGE 8:

http://www.cyclenews.com/testride/latestissue.html

"Hayden insists he will not get into a slagging match with Pedrosa..."

Nicky: "Am I surprised? No. I was surprised the first time he flapped off a bit, but I don't really care to be honest. I don't get my feelings hurt because someone wants to talk a little smack. I just laugh it off. It's almost funny, but it makes the team look bad and Repsol and Honda look bad...I just want to see the dude heal up and come back. That's just not my style, talking a lot of trash like that".

Pedrosa should learn some manners from his teammate.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Rossi_fan @ Feb 6 2008, 07:14 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Why not just have 2 different bikes, one made for dani and one made for nicky?
that's what you would get if they ran it as 2 teams like fiat yam are now doing. mabe this is what nicky and danni are after. show honda theres trouble in the team between the 2 of them by shouting your mouth off and mabe honda will split the team into 2.

if only 1 thing happens all season it would be that hayden finish in front of pedrochio in the championship standings no matter were in the standings it is.
