Hey all,

Anyone know how one would go about getting those paddock tickets? A couple of years ago you could buy them just like regular tickets (of course super expensive!), but for the past while they haven't been on offer. Is is just by invite? Also does anyone know how one would go about joining the on track help? Don't know what they are called but surely all those people in orange jackets can't all be employees? Or can they?

Cheers

for Sachsenring GrandPrix (german GP) you can order the Paddock-walk tickets on the website from the circuit

Thanks I looked it up but there is nothing there, about the tickets or about working on the track. So I guess that each individual track sets out the rules eh?

Anyone know anything about working on the track during the race?

THanks

This year the ADAC Sachsen is offering for the first time the paddock ticket that grants access to the MotoGP paddock on 10th July, 2008, between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.

With this ticket the fans can have a fascinating look behind the scenes of this top-class motorsports event.

The participation in the pit walk from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm is also included. The returns of these strictly limited tickets, avalaible for the price of EUR 119,00 each, will be donated to the organisation "Riders for Health" and to regional charitable non-profit institutions.

Thanks Alex it's too bad that over here in Estoril there is nothing like that going on

Ring the track and ask how to become a flag marshall or track assistant.
It's mostly volunteer work.

You may not get work at this years MotoGP but if you do a bit of work there throughout the year then I reckon next year you may get to go as a worker

good luck

I went to P.I. in 2006 and met up with a fellow forum member for a ride to the track from Melbourne. Low and behold her uncle worked for Hopkins team and hooked me with a paddock pass during qualifying and after the race on Sunday. Got to meet Hayden and get my picture with him as well and I got see all the other riders while they came out of the garage. I'm never starstruck but i was in awe being in the paddock and being up close to the action.

I forget her name but if she still reads this forum I want to say thanks again!! You made my weekend!
